I[edit]

I think there's a slight glitch in my copy of the game; Aero doesn't reflect even half the attack. It just uses up mana. HarukaHeart13 09:37, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

EVER THINK OF CLEANING THE GAME?!

Todo[edit]

  • Cover enemies that use Aero.
  • Do we want to cover the element as well, or just the spell?
  • What do higher levels of Aero do in Days?
  • Add images for Days (Aero KHD.png, Aerora KHD.png, Aeroga KHD.png) and Re:coded (Aero KHREC.png)
  • For Re:coded - check sector rewards (confirm which ones are one-off or rebuyable; I used the gamefaqs guides as a source), check moogle shop (which commands are buyable as soon as you get the first one); check prize blox drops throughout game (need Ultimania).
  • Replace the screenshots with animated .gifs.

Discussion[edit]

Neumannz ask me to made a page for for the elemental use of fire, you can take a look at it and see if you can use it in any way to help. UnknownCheisā —— I Burn

Well,

  • Yes, cover them in a separate section with sub-headings for each game.
  • Are we splitting element from spell now? That seems like an acceptable idea, so I think it would be better to cover the element on a separate article.
  • Not 100% sure, but I can pop Days in very quickly to check.
  • Okay, images are there, though the mechanics section is a bit stuffed with images already. Where would these be placed, in the obtainment section?
  • Shard can assist with this.

Oh, no, you misunderstood. I mean the actual levels (1-5), not the forms."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:08, 19 April 2011 (EDT)

Well, you can find the shop upgrades at my page here. Ether KHREC.png==Pea14733==Aero KHREC.png 08:42, 19 April 2011 (EDT)

I added the BBS and Re:coded mechanics, also when I was looking the page, it look a little messy, with the conflicting uses and information of Aero/ra/ga, would be simpler to make pages to cover each spell by itself? Like one page for Aero, another for Aerora, and Aeroga? Neumannz also ask me to created page for fire, fira, and firga. this way it would be more simple for each spell to have its own article, rather then adding all this information into the page? UnknownCheisā —— I Burn

The main problem is KH1 and KH2 - while the uses in other games can be inelegantly extracted from each other, there's simply no way to do it with those games, since it's just "get the nth fire element". It doesn't matter where you get it, as long as it's the nth. Then there's the unholy amount of redundancy between the three resulting pages.
Which sections, in particular, were difficult? We could certainly work on organizing them better without fully splitting them."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:14, 19 April 2011 (EDT)

Won't it kind of be overkill if we do all of that stuff. I've looked at your gravity examples and it definetely dosen't go that far.

Keyblade-Blk.png Most of that results from the fact that Gravity was not present in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days or Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, whereas Aero was. That's one of the reasons I chose Aero, so that would could have a model Magic article that covers more games.

Wait, that notes and references section, it's wrong isn't it? "Shop levels" aren't canocal are they? It's just something in the strategy guides.

Ok, I've actually added a lot to this page, but you nguys just erase it. If you think it's written wrong, change it. Don't completely erase it. I added a an entire section on BBS the other day and somebody deleted the whole thing. I'm helping out the best I can. Sorry if that's not good enough.

AlVan, when making contributions, you need to focus on spelling more. The last edit you made, which Chitalian undid, was as follows:
Higher levels of aero are stroinger but do not cange form.

The word "Aero" is always capitalized, "stronger" is not spelled with an "i", and "change" is spelled with an "h". If you really want your edits to be meaningful, correcting your spelling is one thing you can do to prevent other users to reverting your contributions. I have seen many a case where an editor undid an edit because either they couldn't understand the sentence, or the sentence had too many misspelled words.

Also, when Kryten asked about the levels of Aero in 358, he wanted actual statistics: how much did the increased level affect the strength of the spell? The chances of the spell inflicting wind-tossed status? If you could find that information, rather than posting a non-specific sentence about levels in general, that would be very helpful to the article and would certainly be considered "good enough".

In regards to Days, simply figuring out what the levels change would be sufficient. If it's just damage dealt, then I would be fine with "increasing the level of Aero increases its strength", or something similar, but we need to verify it doesn't modify the speed or range of the attack, too. We probably need an Ultimania scan for that.

In regards to the edits I've reverted:

  • I reverted your removal of the section-stub, because the section was absolutely not done, and I had actually listed exactly what it was missing on this page.
  • The edits to the BbS section that you made...while they improved what was there, that stuff shouldn't have been there in the first place. That's why I went ahead and completely finished off that section. I made sure to keep everything from your work that I could, but the section needed a complete overhaul.
  • The things that need to be done are in the list above. Some of it, we'd need the Ultimania, so neither of us can do it until Shard or someone else is able to upload scans. However, there's a good bit of it that you can do, or can easily look up on your own. If it's something you don't have the resources for, I am perfectly happy to help point you to where you can get the info, or tell you who to ask.

I've really got to watch what I type. I'll do spell checks more often now that you've pointed that out. Also, as I have said before, I don't have a copy of Days anymore (my little brother lost it), so I can't help out with it other than what I remember. I have played through all of BBS several times and can help alot with details. Unfortunately, it looks like you guys are done with those sections. I can't help out with Re: Coded at all.

KHII[edit]

Should we make a KHII section to explain that aero is somewhat replaced by the reflect element? Also, I'm gonna bring up a question I asked earlier: "Shop levels" aren't canocal are they?
No, since they aren't really; Yes they are, it's just a hidden stat."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:52, 25 April 2011 (EDT)

Yeah but I thought the real word was Battle Levels instead of Shop Levels. Isn't that what is was in the other games?
No, that is an entirely separate mechanic."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:50, 26 April 2011 (EDT)
AlVan - things you can easily do:
  • Add the panel icons for Re:coded and 358/2 Days.
  • Look up enemies that use aero spells to attack (using guides, or the wiki itself). Write a draft for them on the talk page first.
  • Ask Erry to produce animated gifs of the various Aeros in each game.
  • Ask ShardofTruth for the Days Ultimania scan relating to spell levels, and the Re:coded Ultimania scans relating to sector rewards, moogle shop inventories, and prize box contents.

Please do these quickly."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:54, 26 April 2011 (EDT)

I just added the symbols. You guys can go ahead and edit it all you want to but please don't erase it completely and make me have to start over.
Okay, clarification - look at how any other article handles the symbols, like Judgment Triad. They go in Mechanics sections, or the lead."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:01, 27 April 2011 (EDT)

Should I make the same way as the CoM mechanics? Or like this(under mechanics):

358/2 Days[edit]

Aero:Aero KHD.png

Aerora:Aerora KHD.png

Aeroga:Aeroga KHD.png

All forms of Aero are have the same symbol in Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded:Aero KHREC.pngAlVan 17:20, 27 April 2011 (EDT)AlVan

No. The images just go at the start of the mechanics section, as with Judgment Triad or Range Tech."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:50, 27 April 2011 (EDT)

Woww... Erry just did it. Way to stay on top of things, AlVan. [clap clap clap] --Item_2384.png AS IF! Item_2384.png 14:31, 7 May 2011 (EDT)

Okay, the example was judgment triad, right? So the symbols should come after the description. I was just correcting something by what Kryten said. Wait, what about Erry? I don't understand what you meant by that.AlVan 17:16, 9 May 2011 (EDT)AlVan

Aeroga Command Meld.[edit]

I'm playing as Terra, trying to Command Meld Aeroga, using the recipe Aerora (LV3) + Aerora (LV3), and it won't let me command meld it. Is there anyone that can get this recipe to work with BBSFM? If not, it should be removed from the article. Eternal Flames KHD.pngChainoffirePizza Cut KHD.png 04:47, 28 July 2014 (UTC)

Well I can meld it normally. Pea14733 ---- [火] 05:10, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
