Spellweaver
Spellweaver (マジックウィッシュ Majikku Wisshu, lit. "Magic Wish") is a technique in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Spellweaver is a Command Style exclusive to Aqua. It is activated by using a variety of Magic commands, but is overridden by Firestorm, Thunderbolt, or Diamond Dust. While using Spellweaver, Aqua uses the power of light to hover the Keyblade in midair, allowing her to slowly attack enemies while also enhancing her magic capabilities. The standard combo while attacking is a four-hit combo and the combo finisher consists of her firing a ball of light. The finisher consists of Aqua performing a magical spinning attack, controlled by the analog stick.
In Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, Spellweaver is a Style Change activated by using physical attacks. It consists of a six-hit combo, which is noticeably faster than its Birth by Sleep incarnation. The finisher no longer rapidly drains enemy health, but rather removes chunks of health over time, and now has Aqua create an ice crystal, which she shatters at the technique's end.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Spellweaver is the Formchange of the Master's Defender Keyblade. While the mechanics are exactly the same as in 0.2, this time the Finish command is immediately available upon triggering the Formchange, as opposed to needing to fill the gauge a second time.
In Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, Spellweaver is an Ability used by Aqua. It is triggered when activating an Ability Crystal near a grounded enemy, and has Aqua perform an icy spinning attack.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
- Aqua learns Spellweaver after defeating the Orbs of Light in the Land of Departure.

- Aqua learns Spellweaver after finding the gear in the courtyard in Castle Town.

- The Master's Defender has Spellweaver as its Formchange.

- Spellweaver can be triggered by activating an ability crystal as Team BBS.

If playing as Aqua, the Armor of Eraqus uses Spellweaver during its boss battle.

As a copy of Aqua, Phantom Aqua is capable of using Spellweaver.
Kingdom Hearts III
- Through save editing, it is possible for Sora to utilize Spellweaver, albeit without any of its unique mechanics and animations.
- Anti-Aqua is capable of using Spellweaver.
Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
- During the battle against the Replica Xehanorts, the Absolute Zero Situation Command has Aqua perform an icy spinning attack reminiscent of the Spellweaver finisher.
