The Solemn Magnolia is a Scythe that can be wielded by Marluxia in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Solemn Magnolia+.

DesignEdit

The Solemn Magnolia has a curved, green handle with a small, black section toward its base and a flat, silver pommel. Most of the main blade is straight and rather thin, but it suddenly flares out into a wide, anchor-like point at its tip. The back blade is much smaller, but has the same shape. The shaft of the blade has concave edges and ends in a short spike. The shaft is predominantly navy blue and there is a navy diamond present on both the main and back blades. The edges of the shaft, as well as the inner edges of the tips of both blades are tan, while the rest of the blade is off-white. The blade as a whole is quite large, particularly when compared to the size of the handle.

Magnolia is a large, ancient genus of plants. Magnolia flowers represent nobility, perseverance, or the love of nature. "Solemn" means "serious" or "somber".

GameplayEdit

Solemn Magnolia's ground combo consists of a powerful 360 slash close to the ground, three slash alternating from right, left, right, before going into the air and finishing with an angled 360 slash. The aerial combo begins with two slashes going right then left and finishes with an angled 360 slash.
