Reflect (リフレク Rifureku, lit. "Reflec"), Reflera (リフレラ Rifurera), and Reflega (リフレガ Rifurega) are a series of magic that appear in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts III. In Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts III, Reflect is dubbed as Barrier, and it appears without its higher tiers. Reflect magic momentarily summons a spherical shield of light around the user, fending off enemy attacks.
Mechanics
Kingdom Hearts II
In Kingdom Hearts II, Reflect is a spell that can be used by Sora. It briefly produces a barrier of light that blocks any attacks. If an attack is successfully guarded, the barrier unleashes a series of small, random light explosions as it disperses, dealing a flat amount of damage based on Sora's Magic stat to anything hit by the blast. Reflera and Reflega summon increasingly larger barriers and counter with larger, higher-damaging blasts. Reflect magic costs 10 MP to use, and deals Neutral damage.
Reflect takes the role of Aero from Kingdom Hearts as the primary defensive magic.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Barrier is a defense command exclusive to Aqua that is triggered either on the ground or midair by pressing while stationary or walking. Holding the button extends the duration of the barrier whenever any attacks come into contact in succession. Unlike in Kingdom Hearts II, Barrier cannot stop all attacks, and if used in midair, it cancels the user's momentum. Barrier has a maximum level of 3.
Counter Blast may be installed under Barrier.
Kingdom Hearts III
In Kingdom Hearts III, Barrier is an action ability. When used, the user surrounds themselves with a barrier that blocks attacks from all directions.
In Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind, Reflega is an action ability when the Keyblade wielders fight against the Replica Xehanorts.

Kingdom Hearts II
- Sora obtains a Reflect element after defeating Pete in Timeless River.
- Sora obtains a Reflect element after defeating Xaldin.
- Sora obtains a Reflect element after defeating the Master Control Program.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep
- Aqua has Barrier as an initial command.
- Aqua can purchase Barrier from the Command Shop for 200 munny once one world is cleared or the command has already been obtained elsewhere.
