The Sky Scraper Reaction Command as it appears in the Xemnas (Dragon) boss battle.

Reaction Commands are a feature introduced in Kingdom Hearts II, intended to extend the level of combat. By pressing Triangle in specific contexts, the player character will perform a specific action indicated by the title of the command. These reactions are generally combat maneuvers used to gain the upper hand against enemies, though they are also used for more mundane actions such as talking to other characters and opening chests. Occasionally, some Reaction Commands must be completed in order to end a battle. Only a select few Reaction Commands require the player to press Triangle the moment it appears; in Kingdom Hearts II, one can press Triangle until the command is initiated, suffering no penalty if Triangle is not pressed at the right moment. Only three Reaction Commands in the entirety of Kingdom Hearts II penalize such an action. In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, pressing Triangle too early during the execution of a Sleight prevents the attack from being completed.

General reaction commands

Lift (もちあげる Mochiageru?) Lift a barrel, a pot, a pumpkin, or a crate. When near a barrel, a pot, a pumpkin, or a crate.
Throw (なげる Nageru?) Throw a barrel, a pot, a pumpkin, or a crate. (Replaces Attack command in all versions of the game.) When carrying a barrel, a pot, a pumpkin, or a crate.
Trinity (トリニティ Toriniti?) Use a Trinity Mark if Donald and Goofy are in the party. When standing in front of a Trinity Mark.
Mail Card (ハガキをだす Hagaki wo dasu?) Mail a Postcard to receive a prize. When near the Mailbox in the First District.
Drink (のむ Nomu?) Drink from a bottle. Results in growth or shrinkage. When near a bottle on the table in the Bizarre Room.
Move (おす Osu?, lit. "Push") Move a piece of furniture aside. When large and near a bed in the Bizarre Room.
Move (うごかす Ugokasu?) Move the Teddy Bear from one chair to another. When large and near the Teddy Bear in the Bizarre Room.
Move a piece of furniture aside. When large and near a clock in the Bizarre Room.
When near a dresser in Aladdin's House. Can only be moved once.
Read (よむ Yomu?) Open a book and view its contents. When near a book in the Bizarre Room.
Go to a specific area in the 100 Acre Wood. In the hub of 100 Acre Wood.
Take (とる Toru?) Pick a fruit from a tree. When large and near the branch with an edible fruit in Lotus Forest.
Take a book from a shelf. When near an out-of-place book on a bookshelf in the Library in Hollow Bastion.
Eat (たべる Taberu?) Eat the fruit you picked. Results in shrinkage. When near an edible fruit in Lotus Forest.
Turn (まわす Mawasu?) Turn on a faucet. A vase grows from the floor as a result. When near a faucet on a wall in the Bizarre Room.
Spin the revolving plate inside one of the pillars. With luck, the prize is a Treasure Chest. When near a revolving plate in the Library in Hollow Bastion.
Touch (ふれる Fureru?) Touch a lamp with the Keyblade. The lamp lights up and an additional effect takes place. When near a lamp on a wall or on the ceiling in the Bizarre Room.
Touch an Ape Statue with the Keyblade. The crystal it holds lights up and a pathway is revealed. When near an Ape Statue in the Cave of Wonders.
Call (たのむ Tanomu?) If Aladdin is in the party, Abu will touch an Ape Statue out of Sora's reach. The crystal it holds lights up and a pathway is revealed. When facing an unreachable Ape Statue in the Cave of Wonders.
If Beast is in the party, he will smash through a damaged wall to reveal a pathway. When near a damaged wall in Hollow Bastion.
Sit (すわる Suwaru?) Sit in a chair. Depending on the chair you sit in, you will either receive prizes or encounter Heartless. When near a chair in the Tea Party Garden.
Release (かいじょする Kaijosuru?) Unlatch a door to open it. When near the door on the ceiling in the Bizarre Room.
Insert the Keyblade into a lock to open it. When near a lock in Agrabah.
Activates certain mechanisms. When near an ice switch in Hollow Bastion.
Jump On (とびつく Tobitsuku?) Jump onto a swinging vine. When near a swinging vine in the Vines or Vines 2.
Jump Next (とびうつる Tobiutsuru?) Jump from one swinging vine to another swinging vine. (Replaces Attack command in all versions of the game.) When on a swinging vine in the Vines or Vines 2.
Jump Off (とびおりる Tobioriru?) Jump from a swinging vine to a leafy branch. (Replaces Attack command in all versions of the game.) When on the last sequential swinging vine in the Vines or Vines 2.
Pull (ひっぱる Hipparu?) Ring a bell. When near the rope in the bell tower above the Gizmo Shop.
When near Jack's doorbell in Guillotine Square.
When near Pooh's doorbell in front of Pooh's House.
Pull Out (ぬく Nuku?) Pull a vegetable from the ground. A Potion or Elixir may be buried underneath. When near a Cabbage or Pumpkin in the garden in front of Rabbit's House.
Grab On (つかまる Tsukamaru?) Grab the dolphin's dorsal fin to gain fast transportation, powerful enough to swim against currents. When near the dolphin in Atlantica.
Get In (のる Noru?) Hop into the bathtub to return to Oogie's manor entrance without having to go through the sewer. When near the bathtub in Oogie's Manor.
Push (おす Osu?) Press the button on the wall. When near the button on the wall in the library in Hollow Bastion.

Battle reaction commands

Command Description Context
Sonic (ソニック Sonikku?) Begin a Sonic Blade attack. Up to a small distance from an enemy.
Rave (レイヴ Reivu?) Continue a Sonic Blade attack for up to five additional hits. (Replaces Attack command in the PS2 version of the game.) After the Sonic command is selected.
Blast (フィニッシュ Finisshu?, lit. "Finish") Finish a Sonic Blade attack with an even more powerful finisher. (Replaces Attack command in the PS2 version of the game.) After the fifth Rave command is selected.
Arcanum (アルカナム Arukanamu?) Begin an Ars Arcanum attack. Close to an enemy.
Bash (ブレイク Bureiku?, lit. "Break") Continue an Ars Arcanum attack for up to five additional hits. Each hit is different, with the fifth one providing a more powerful blow. (Replaces Attack command in the PS2 version of the game.) After the Arcanum command is selected.
Finis (ジ・エンド Ji Endo?, lit. "The End") Finish an Ars Arcanum attack with an even more powerful finisher. (Replaces Attack command in the PS2 version of the game.) After the fifth Bash command is selected.
Strike (ストライク Sutoraiku?) Begin a Strike Raid attack. Up to a long distance from an enemy.
Raid (レイド Reido?) Continue a Strike Raid attack for up to three additional hits. (Replaces Attack command in the PS2 version of the game.) After the Strike command is selected.
Judgment (ジャッジメント Jajjimento?) Finish a Strike Raid attack with an even more powerful finisher. (Replaces Attack command in the PS2 version of the game.) After the third Raid command is selected.
Ragnarok (ラグナロク Ragunaroku?) Begin a Ragnarok attack. Beneath an enemy.
Impact (インパクト Inpakuto?) Finish a Ragnarok attack with a salvo of beams that attack the target. (Replaces Attack command in the PS2 version of the game.) After the Ragnarok command is selected.
Trinity (トリニティ Toriniti?) Begin a Trinity Limit attack. Near Donald and Goofy.
Charge Up (チャージ Chaaji?, lit. "Charge") Hold the button down to begin a Proud Roar attack. Near Simba.
Proud Roar (プラウドロア Puraudo Roa?) Release the button to execute a Proud Roar attack. Power is dependent on the amount of time the Charge Up command is depressed. While holding down the Charge Up command.
Showtime (ショータイム Shōtaimu?) Execute a Showtime attack. Near Genie.
Splash (スプラッシュ Supurasshu?) Hold the button down to execute a Splash attack. While riding on Dumbo's back.
Fire Breath (フレアブレス Furea Buresu?, lit. "Flare Breath") Hold the button down to execute a Fire Breath attack. With Mushu on Sora's head.

Event-specific reaction commands

Cancel (やめる Yameru?) End the current Magic Training session. When next to Merlin in his attic.

Battle reaction commands

Command Description Context
Stock (ストック Sutokku?) Stock a card to use in a sleight. When there are less than three cards stocked up.
Combo (コンボ Konbo?) Use your stocked cards to perform a combo. When there are three cards stocked up that don't result in a sleight.
Sleight (ストック技 Sutokku Gi?, lit. "Stock Technique") Use your stocked cards to perform a sleight. The sleight used depends on the combination of the stocked cards. When there are three cards stocked up that result in a sleight.
Press! Continue a Sleight that uses more than one hit. After a multi-step sleight has been activated.
Finish! Finish a Sleight that uses more than one hit. After all other "Press!" commands in the sleight have been used.

Enemy-specific reaction commands

Command Description Context
Reversal Sora or Roxas quickly dashes behind the enemy, confusing all Dusks and Creepers in the immediate area for a short time. Can also be used against Twilight Thorn's and Xemnas's thorn attacks. In this case, Sora or Roxas will dash around his foe's attacks and bring him within attack range of Xemnas or Twilight Thorn. When fighting against certain Nobodies such as Dusks or when avoiding certain attacks.
Fail-Safe Sora grabs an Assassin that is about to self-destruct and throws it towards the ground. This destroys the Assassin while dealing damage to nearby enemies and forcing other Assassins to emerge from the ground. Used before an Assassin self-destructs.
Duel Stance (デュエルバウト Dyueru Bauto?, lit. "Duel Bout") Sora must select "The End" (ジ・エンド Ji Endo?) in the menu bar before time is up to slash through the Samurai, but if too much time passes, Sora will lose the duel and be slashed. In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the player has to hit the "O" in the menu bar to slash through the Samurai; hitting any one of the three "X's" or not hitting at all will result otherwise. A similar, non-reaction command version is used against Roxas in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. Used against Samurai when they kneel.
Stop Dice Begins game in which the player has to hit the menu command O. Three commands change to X and one to O, and they rotate through the menu. If you fail, Sora is turned into a die. Success, however earns you munny and stuns any nearby Gamblers. Used against Gamblers. The Reaction Command can be triggered once a Gambler stands in one spot and makes its dice hover (there will be a dark aura surrounding it.).
Begin Game (ゲームスタート Gēmu Sutāto?, lit. "Game Start") Begins game where player has to hit Triangle at the right timing (when the reaction command says O. It will toggle between O and X.). If you fail, Sora is turned into a card by the Gambler. Success, however earns you munny and stuns any nearby Gamblers. Against Luxord, it depletes his Time Gauge by a small amount while stunning him, clears the arena of any of his cards, and causes him to drop a large amount of HP orbs. Used against Gamblers and Luxord. The Reaction Command can be triggered if a Gambler stops and twirls the cards around.
Berserk (バーサク Bāsaku?) Sora grabs a Berserker's Weapon (or Saïx's Claymore) and ride above it while his head is covered in a black and red aura, indicating a berserk state. The player can control the weapon's movement with Sora riding in it. Any nearby enemy will be pulled by the weapon like the Magnet magic. Used against a Berserker or Saix when their weapon/Claymore is dropped.
Eclipse (ストライド Sutoraido?, lit. "Stride") Sora, holding a Berserker or Saïx's claymore, flips backwards and hits the enemy. The combo can be continued for two more attacks. Each attack deals half the normal attack damage. Used against Saix or Berserkers.
Magna Storm (マグナストーム Maguna Sutōmu?) A follow-up command after the use of Berserk reaction command. Sora does a combo starting from the ground until mid-air, hitting the enemies nearby and the ones that got pulled by the weapon. This command is also used to neutralize Saïx's berserk state. Used against a Berserker or Saix after the Berserk command.
Dispel (デスペル Desuperu?) When trapped in the lexicon, Sora strikes the lexicon Zexion is hiding in, freeing himself from the illusionary arena inside the book. Causes damage.

Can also be used in the Pride Lands. The Command appears when a series of blue flames attack and encircle Sora, and Dispel allows Sora to use them against his enemies.

Used against Zexion as Absent Silhouette in the Underworld - Cave of the Dead (Inner Chamber) and his Data Battle, and a Shaman in the Pride Lands.
Struggle (あがく Agaku?) When trapped by Vexen in a block of ice, Sora can weaken the ice by repeatedly using Struggle. When trapped by Zexion in the lexicon and then trapped again, Sora can attempt to break free of the damaging spell with Struggle as well. Used against Zexion's Absent Silhouette, Zexion's Data Replica, Vexen's Absent Silhouette, and Vexen's Data Replica.
Reset (リセット Risetto?) A follow-up command after the use of Struggle reaction command against Zexion. After breaking free of the second lexicon, Sora automatically flies with high-speed towards the lexicon containing Zexion, before Dispel becomes automatically available regardless of the lexicon's health level. Used against Zexion as Absent Silhouette in the Underworld - Cave of the Dead (Inner Chamber) and his Data Battle.
Merge (アザーブレイク Azā Bureiku?, lit. "Other Break") Sora grabs Larxene by the wrist and throws her into the air. Then he grabs her clone, also by the wrist, and spins her around, lifting her up off the floor. He then hurls the clone at her original self as she falls back down, causing them to forcibly merge and stunning Larxene for a short time. Used against Larxene as Absent Silhouette in Port Royal - Isla de Muerta: Rock Face and her Data Battle.
Mega Impact (メガインパクト Mega Inpakuto?) Sora jumps back as his "power meter" increases to an amount 100 points more than Lexaeus's (equal if Lexaeus's power is 99999, the maximum), Sora then slides quickly into Lexaeus, slamming him with a massive uppercut, stunning Lexaeus for a while. Used against Lexaeus as Absent Silhouette in Twilight Town - Sandlot and his Data Battle.
Restore Count (ロブカウント Robu Kaunto?, lit. "Rob Count") Sora evades Marluxia's slash and knocks his scythe out of his hands with the Keyblade. After grabbing the scythe, Sora slices Marluxia a few times, knocking him away. Sora then throws the scythe towards Marluxia, damaging him and earning back thirteen countdown numerals. In the Data Battle, the number of countdown numerals is cut in half for each successive use. Used against Marluxia as Absent Silhouette in Beast's Castle - Beast's Room and his Data Battle.
Aerial Strike (エアトランプル Ea Toranpuru?, lit. "Air Trample") Sora jumps over Marluxia's downward slash, lands on then leaps from his scythe, and knocks him into the air and across the arena. This attack deals heavy damage (2 to 4 bars of Marluxia's health, depending on the Keyblade used and level). Note that this attack does not increase the counter. Used against Marluxia as Absent Silhouette in Beast's Castle - Beast's Room and his Data Battle.
Overtaker (ランアップ Ran Appu?, lit. "Run Up") Roxas/Sora leaps at Axel, repeatedly clashing against his Chakrams in the air with his Keyblade(s). Used against Axel in the basement of the Simulated Twilight Town and his Data Battle.
Clear Light (クリア Kuria?, lit. "Clear") Roxas/Sora pounces Axel to the ground, causing multiple pillars of light to form and forcing Axel to turn the lava-flooded floor back to normal. Used against Axel in the basement of the Simulated Twilight Town and his Data Battle.
Burst Edge (バーストエッジ Bāsuto Ejji?) Roxas or Sora throws his Keyblade at Axel, countering his attacks from the wall of flame and opening him up to further attack. Used against Axel in the basement of the Simulated Twilight Town and his Data Battle.
Key Counter When the Twilight Thorn tries to punch him, Roxas' right side momentarily breaks free of his restraints to dodge the Twilight Thorn's hand, and then slashes its face. Used against the Twilight Thorn.
Lunarsault After being thrown into the air by the Twilight Thorn, Roxas vaults over its downward strike and slashes it in the head while coming down. Used against the Twilight Thorn.
Break Raid After tipping Roxas off the platform, the Twilight Thorn creates a giant orb. Roxas throws the Keyblade into the orb, causing it to explode. This leaves the Twilight Thorn stunned and allows Roxas to attack freely. Used against the Twilight Thorn.
Show Stealer (ライブジャック Raibu Jakku?, lit. "Live Jack") Show Stealer is available during the second battle against Demyx in Hollow Bastion. The Command appears when Demyx dances towards Sora while taunting him, awaiting an attack to counter by sending him flying with a sitar solo. If Show Stealer is activated, Sora moves behind Demyx and holds his Keyblade atilt, similar to a mic and singing as Demyx performs the solo. He then ducks under Demyx's sitar swipe and bats him into the air, leaving him vulnerable to followup attacks.

However, if Sora is in Anti Form when Demyx does this, the Reaction Command is activated automatically.

Used against Demyx in Hollow Bastion.
Wild Dance (ワイルドダンス Wairudo Dansu?) Sora grabs a Water Form and swings it around his head, attacking the other water forms in the area or damaging Demyx. Also used against Armored Xemnas, where it is called "Water Dance". Used against water forms in the fights with Demyx.
Learn (ラーニング Rāningu?, lit. "Learning") Sora absorbs and internalizes up to nine attacks from either Xaldin or a Dragoon by rapidly using "Learn". Afterward, he can use "Jump" (ジャンプ Janpu?) with the attack button to leap into the air and stab the Keyblade onto the enemy, consuming one of the stocked attacks. Note that Magic can still be used freely. Used against Xaldin or Dragoons.
Break (ブレイク Bureiku?) Block Xigbar's "Sniper" attack and deflects the bullets towards him. Used against Xigbar.
Warp Snipe (ワープスナイプ Wāpu Sunaipu?) Sora warps in front of an arrowgun bolt and deflects it back at the shooter. Can be used multiple times in succession. Used against Xigbar or Snipers.
Flip/Turn (めくる Mekuru?, lit. "Turn Over") During the battle with Luxord, "Flip" flips cards to reveal the other side of the card. During the battle with Zexion, "Turn" is used to flip the pages of the Command Menu after Zexion locks it, revealing words that frequently provide a number of beneficial effects.[?] Used against Luxord, Zexion's Absent Silhouette, and Zexion's Replica Data.
Facedown (たちむかう Tachimukau?) Sora forcefully breaks the curse Xemnas laid on him, then rushes up the side of the tower while Xemnas jumps down from the top. (The next action command is determined by how far apart Sora and Xemnas are when the player activates it. If nothing is pressed, Xemnas will deal heavy damage to Sora.) Used against Xemnas at Memory's Skyscraper.
Clash (しりぞける Shirizokeru?, lit. "Repel") Sora and Xemnas pass by each other without attacking. Used against Xemnas at Memory's Skyscraper.
Break Through/Smash (うちやぶる Uchiyaburu?) After using Facedown against Xemnas, Sora strikes him, doing minor damage.
After repeatedly using Struggle to weaken Vexen's ice, Sora can break free.
Used against Xemnas at Memory's Skyscraper, Vexen's Absent Silhouette, and Vexen's Replica Data.
Finish (とどめ Todome?) When in close contact with Xemnas, Sora blocks and counters Xemnas's attack, slamming him into the tower and dealing heavy damage. (In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, successfully activating this Reaction Command will leave Xemnas' Replica Data with 1 HP.) Used against Xemnas at Memory's Skyscraper.
Defend (ふせぐ Fusegu?) When Xemnas knocks Sora's Keyblade away, Riku grabs it and throws it back. The two then clash with Xemnas. Defend allows them to narrowly dodge a powerful spinning attack Xemnas unleashes. Used against Xemnas in the final battle.
Rescue (すくいだす Sukuidasu?) Riku leaps up and frees Sora from Xemnas's grip. With his Keyblade hand, he then smacks Xemnas's face multiple times with the Keyblade guard, before spinning and throwing him away. Used against Xemnas in the final battle.
Reflect (リフレクト Rifurekuto?) Sora and Riku rapidly deflect the barrage of Ethereal Blades shot by Xemnas. Riku and Sora must both survive the attack, with Triangle controlling Riku and X controlling Sora; both must be rapidly pressed. Used against Xemnas in the final battle.
Rapid Blow Sora rushes in and attacks multiple times with somersaulting strikes in response to an Aerial Knocker charging up its heavy punch. Used against Aerial Knockers in Pride Lands.
Air Twister When an Air Pirate dive kicks towards Sora, he grabs and swings it around, drawing other enemies in similar to a Magnet effect. Used against Air Pirates.
Rising Sun After an Armored Knight begins an attack or when Sora attacks it during an attack, dives a good distance through the enemy up to 5 times, dealing massive damage and hitting any nearby enemies in his way. Used against Armored Knights (after attacking it).
Bolt Reversal Sora reflects the bolt laser of a Bolt Tower by tapping Triangle repeatedly, generating an electric explosion that destroys its antennae and damages nearby enemies. Used against Bolt Towers after being caught in its laser.
Capsule Prize Sora cranks a normal prize and a small amount of orbs out of a Bulky Vendor which defeats it. Can only be used when a Bulky Vendor has 100-75% HP left.
Rare Capsule Sora cranks an uncommon prize and an amount of orbs out of a Bulky Vendor which defeats it. Can only be used when a Bulky Vendor has 74-50% HP left.
Limited Capsule Sora cranks a rare prize and a large amount of orbs out of a Bulky Vendor which defeats it. Can only be used when a Bulky Vendor has 49-25% HP left.
Prime Capsule Sora cranks a very rare prize and a wealth of orbs out of a Bulky Vendor which defeats it. Can only be used when a Bulky Vendor has 24-1% HP left.
Root Ravager Sora uproots a Creeper Plant, creating a shockwave that damages surrounding enemies and stuns it. This also uproots all Creeper Plants in the area at once. Can only be used when a Creeper Plant attempts to trip Sora using its roots.
Heal Stomp Sora stomps a Crescendo, healing the party. (power = Sora's magic x30) Can only be used when a Crescendo is trying to heal nearby enemies.
Clear Shot Sora takes the ice timer itself and shoots it back at the Fortuneteller when the timer on the ice hits 1. Used against Fortunetellers when they attempt to freeze Sora.
Bat Cry Sora latches the Keyblade onto one Hook Bat's hook. Sora then spins through midair, hitting airborne enemies with the captured Hook Bat. Can only be used against Hook Bats when they attack.
Lance Tug Sora grabs onto the lance from the Lance Soldier and flies around with the berserk lance alongside the soldier, hitting multiple enemies. He then guides the lance and makes it slam into the ground, inflicting heavy damage on the soldier. Can only be used against Lance Soldiers.
Full Swing Sora hits a midair Large Body or Fat Bandit with a powerful attack. This is activated after a combo finisher hits or following Kickback. Can only be used against Large Bodies or Fat Bandits.
Guard Blocks Large Body's toboggan attack. Can only be used against a Large Body.
Kickback After Guard, Sora moves into an rapidly attacks the Large Body six times with both arms, the final attack knocking it into the air. Can only be used against a Large Body.
Rodeo Ride on Living Bone's back, causing shock waves. If a Shaman is riding on top, Sora seizes control. Can only be used against a Living Bone.
Grand Cross After Rodeo, Sora flips the Living Bone and ram it into the ground, headfirst, smashing its head. Can only be used against a Living Bone.
Quick Blade Dash with enough speed to disappear, and attack Magnum Loader quickly from behind. Can only be used against a Magnum Loader.
Dodge Roll Roll out of harm's way before Minute Bomb self-destructs. Can only be used against a Minute Bomb that is about to explode.
Bump Sora blocks a Morning Star's slam attack, knocking it into the air. Can only be used against a Morning Star.
Meteor Strike After Bump, slam Morning Star into the ground. Can be used repeatedly until it dies. Can only be used against a Morning Star, after Bump.
Wind Dance Sora leaps into the air and attacks any Neoshadows above him. Can only be used against a Neoshadow's aerial attack.
Speed Trap Sora spins his Keyblade to stop any charging Rapid Thrusters right in front of him. Can only be used against Rapid Thrusters.
Aero Blade After Speed Trap, Sora performs a spinning attack that damages nearby enemies. Can only be used against a Rapid Thruster, after Speed Trap.
Shift Shot Sora grabs then tosses a Silver Rock while it's in a ball of light, causing a small explosion. Can only be used against a Silver Rock.
Cyclone Sora leaps backwards before perform a diving against a Soldier. Can only be used against a Soldier unleashing its retaliating kick.
Snag Sora jumps up to grab a Surveillance Robot. Can only be used against a Surveillance Robot ready to attack.
Sparkle Ray After Snag, Sora spins in a circle as the Surveillance Robot fires a massive laser, effectively destroying or severely damaging all surrounding enemies. He throws the Surveillance Robot a short distance away. Can only be used against a Surveillance Robot, after Snag.
Tornado Ride Sora rides a spinning Tornado Step and extends his Keyblade, using the Analog Stick to move around and damage enemies. Can only be used against a Tornado Step.
Backshuffle Sora leaps backward repeatedly to dodge Undead Pirate A's axe slashes. Can only be used against Undead Pirate A.
High Counter After Backshuffle, Sora counterattacks Undead Pirate A and sends him flying. Can only be used against Undead Pirate A, after Backshuffle.
Return Fire Sora reflects shots back at Undead Pirate C, or towards his lock-on target. Can only be used against Undead Pirate C.
Release Sora automatically defeats a Gargoyle Warrior or a Gargoyle Knight by forcing its the small Possessor out of the statue. Also used against Thresholder to draw out the real target, Possessor, and against Shadow Stalker to drive it out of the columns and chandelier. Used against: Gargoyle Warrior, Gargoyle Knight, Thresholder, or Shadow Stalker.
Firagun Sora stabs his Keyblade into the Volcanic Lord and spins it around, before throwing it at the Blizzard Lord. If it is being fought alone, the Volcanic Lord will fly around and stop on its own. Can only be used against the Volcanic Lord.
Blizzagun Sora plugs the Blizzard Lord's ice breath, causing its power to pressurize, before letting it rapidly deflate into the Volcanic Lord. If it is being fought alone, the Blizzard Lord will fly around and stop on its own. Can only be used against the Blizzard Lord.
Inside Combo When Prison Keeper is about to "swallow" Lock, Shock, or Barrel, leap inside to attack. Used against the Prison Keeper.
Call Call Pumbaa away from Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed, causing the hyenas to collide. Used against the hyenas in Pride Lands.
Freeze When the Cluster Bar is full, halt Hostile Program's movements. Used against the Hostile Program.
Capture After depleting Lock, Shock, or Barrel's HP, knock a toy box at them to capture them. Used against Lock, Shock and Barrel in Christmas Town.
Press Lock swords with Shan-Yu, tap Triangle repeatedly. Used against Shan-Yu. This then leads to Takedown if performed successfully.
Takedown After "Press" is used a successful amount of times, Sora pushes Shan-Yu away before leaping over a sword slash then smacking him with the Keyblade. Used against Shan-Yu.
Wake Up! Cogsworth stuns Beast with a bell, allowing Sora to attack him. Used in the fight with Beast.
Charge When Beast's HP gets low, repeatedly tap Triangle to fill gauge. Used in the fight with Beast.
Get Up! If Charge is successful, wake up Beast, finishing the battle. Used in the fight with Beast.
Step Vault Use Dark Thorn's back to leap onto the chandelier. Used in the fight with Dark Thorn while its invisible.
Catch Drop chandelier to the floor after Step Vault. Used in the fight with Dark Thorn.
Pendulum Round After Catch, swing chandelier around, catching Dark Thorn before hurling it away and making it clearly visible. Used in the fight with Dark Thorn.
Slingshot After Dark Thorn throws Sora towards a pillar, Sora uses the momentum to grab the pillar and launch himself back at the Dark Thorn. Used in the fight with Dark Thorn.
Evade Sora stops Cerberus's "Trap" attack by using the Keyblade to prop open the center head's mouth. Used in the fight with Cerberus.
Jump! After Evade, Sora takes his Keyblade out of the center head's mouth to avoid the right head's bite, using the force to send himself high into the air. Used in the fight with Cerberus.

Reverse Blade After Land, strike Barbossa before he can fire his gun into Sora's head. Used in the fight with Barbossa.
Fore! Swing the Keyblade golfer-style to knock presents up onto Oogie Boogie's platform to shatter the glass floor. Used in the fight with Oogie Boogie.
Counter When Scar pounces on Sora, scratch at him and hurl him away. Used in the fight with Scar.
Slide When the Storm Rider dives in towards the party, Sora slides underneath of it to dodge the attack. Used in the fight with Storm Rider.
Vertigo Toss After Sora has successfully performed the Slide Reaction command, he strikes the Storm Rider with his Keyblade to toss it high into the sky and fall to the ground, rendering it temporarily unconscious and prone to attacks. Used in the fight with Storm Rider.
Hang On Immediately at the start of the battle, and anytime Sora is on top of the Storm Rider, he can cling onto one of the spikes protruding from its' back to avoid falling to the ground. Used in the fight with Storm Rider.
Aura Shot Knock one of Hercules's aura orbs at Hades, knocking him out of his berserk mode and dealing considerable damage otherwise. Used in the fight with Hades. Note that this Reaction Command requires Hercules.
Hinder Sora stops Grim Reaper from rapidly sucking up medallions by grabbing its weapon, spinning around to dodge its claw swipes, then knocks it into the air. Used in the second fight with Grim Reaper.
