In ''Kingdom Hearts'' the majority of Neverland's story takes place on Captain Hook's ship. When Sora and his [[party]]'s arrive they quickly find themselves in the '''{{a|Brig}}''' of the ship, where they meet Peter Pan. Eventually, they bust out and enter the ship's {{nihongo|'''{{a|Hold}}'''|船倉|Sensō}}. Activating the [[Trinity Mark|Yellow Trinity]] on the left opens a small '''{{a|Secret Room}}''', while the right door leads to a hole into the ship's {{nihongo|'''{{a|Freezer}}'''|氷蔵室|Hyōzō-shitsu|lit. "Ice Storage Room"}}. Traveling through the '''Freezer''' takes Sora's party to the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Galley}}'''|台所|Daidokoro|lit. "Kitchen"}}, just below the place where [[Wendy]] and [[Kairi]] are held prisoner. Climbing through the grate in the corner takes the party to either the '''{{a|Corridor}}''', or the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Cabin}}'''|船室|Senshitsu}}. The latter holds a temporary [[save point]], and a [[Green Trinity]] that lowers the ladder and allows to access the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Captain's Cabin}}'''|船長室|Senchō-shitsu|lit. "Captain's Room"}} where [[AntiSora]] can be fought. After the boss battle the party can pass through a floor door down to the former holding cell for Wendy and Kairi, also named '''{{a|Cabin}}''', where there's a new [[save point]]. Through there the party can walk back to the Corridor and now finally access the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Pirate Ship}}'''|海賊船}} deck, where the climatic battle in Neverland takes place.

In ''Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep'' the main island of Neverland is finally explorable. In the center of the island is the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Gully}}'''|渓谷|Keikoku}}, a watery area which leads either to the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Indian Camp}}'''|集落|Shūraku|lit. "Settlement"}}, the {{nihongo|'''Rainbow Falls: Crest'''|虹の滝:中部|Niji no Taki: Chūbu}}, or the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Jungle Clearing}}'''|ジャングル|Janguru|lit. "Jungle"}}. {{nihongo|'''{{a|Peter's Hideout}}'''|ピーターの隠れ家|Pītā no Kakurega}} can be accessed by entering the tree in the Jungle Clearing. Past that is {{nihongo|'''{{a|Mermaid Lagoon}}'''|人魚の入り江|Ningyo no Irie|lit. "Mermaid Cove"}}, a huge open area with a lot of water to swim in. Taking the path on the right will lead along the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Seacoast}}'''|海岸|Kaigan}} to the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Rainbow Falls: Base}}'''|虹の滝:下部|Niji no Taki: Kabu}}. Going up from the base will lead to {{nihongo|'''{{a|Rainbow Falls: Ascent}}'''|虹の滝:頂上|Niji no Taki: Chōjō}}, and further ascension will lead back to the Rainbow Falls: Crest. The left path from the Mermaid Lagoon leads along the rocky {{nihongo|'''{{a|Cliff Path}}'''|崖道|Gakemichi}}. Further exploration leads to the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Cove}}'''|岬|Misaki|lit. "Cape"}} from which {{nihongo|'''{{a|Skull Rock}}'''|ドクロ岩:外}} can be accessed by boat. Skull Rock's insides the {{nihongo|'''{{a|Skull Rock: Cavern}}'''|ドクロ岩:中|Dokuro Iwa: Naka|lit. "Skull Rock: Inside"}} can also be accessed once on the isle via three different entrances.

Once [[Riku]] has captured [[Jasmine]], [[Maleficent]] reveals [[Kairi]]'s whereabouts.
