When Sora is transported to the Final World, he comes across a glittering star.  The star speaks to him, revealing itself to be Naminé.  She expresses relief that Sora was able to hold onto who he was after what just transpired.  Sora asks Naminé why she was there.  She tells him that she was within Kairi’s heart, but after the latter was attacked by the Heartless in the Keyblade Graveyard, she was brought her. Sora asks if Kairi is alright too, and Naminé assures him that she can still feel Kairi’s heart fighting with all of her strength to keep Sora from fading away. Naminé tells Sora the reason he is able to have a form in this world is because Kairi is the one holding him together and that he needs to go her quickly. Sora says he's trying, though he is now concerned about what will happen to Namine, not wanting to leave her behind forever.  Naminé assures him that it’s okay, reminding him that Kairi is where she came from.  If Sora manages to keep Kairi safe again, Naminé will be able to return through her. Sora remembers that he never had the chance to properly thank Naminé for reconstructing his memories back at Castle Oblivion.  He doesn’t count the time in the datascape with the data version of themselves. He wants to express his thanks, not within this world, but in front of her in person.  Sora insists that there is no way that she and Roxas can be okay with the hurt that they have endured, having the pain himself through the latter back in the Sleeping Worlds.  Naminé insists that it is Roxas that everyone truly misses, not her.  Sora asserts her that she is wrong, reminding her that he, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, the King and especially Roxas miss her.  He also mentions that there is someone else special that will certainly not let her down.  Naminé thanks Sora.  With that, Sora promises to save Kairi, which will free Naminé from the Final World. Before Sora leaves, Naminé calls out to him.  She explains that while shifting through his memories, she was able to speak to Terra.  She tells Sora that Terra has a strong will, which is what tethers him to the realm of light.  She intends to trace that connection, hoping it will tip the scales enough to lead the lost Keyblade wielder back. When Sora questions this, Naminé says it’s her way of saying she is going to be there for him and the others.  Touched, Sora says that is what makes Naminé remind him of Kairi, thanking the former for her support.  A second later, Sora insists that was not the official thank you he was referring to earlier, earning a quick giggle from Naminé before he departs.  As Sora leaves, Naminé says to be careful.
