Magic Upgrade (マジックブースト Majjiku Būsuto, lit. "Magic Boost") is an Overclock ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. The ability powers up your magic commands.

- The Kingdom Key and its upgrades have Magic Upgrade as one of their level 3 Clock Abilities.
- The Lady Luck and its upgrades have Magic Upgrade as one of their level 3 Clock Abilities.
- The Three Wishes IV and its upgrades have Magic Upgrade as one of their level 3 Clock Abilities.
- The Zero/One and its upgrades have Magic Upgrade as one of their level 3 Clock Abilities.
- The Oathkeeper: Mind and its upgrades have Magic Upgrade as one of their level 2 Clock Abilities.
- The Lionheart and its upgrades have Magic Upgrade as one of their level 3 Clock Abilities.
