Composition[edit]

"Just an Itty Bitty Too Much" is approximately forty seconds long in both original and HD remaster versions. The piece has a tempo of 160 beats per minute. The instrumentation consists of: violins, bassoon, tuba, marimba, and piano.

This short piece opens with a brief tuba introduction, followed by a livelier melodic section featuring the marimba. The violins, playing in pizzicato style, play on the subdivision of the first beat in the beginning measure of this new section. They continue this rhythmic figure throughout the remainder of the piece, with notes progressing diatonically. In the background, the bassoon and tuba maintain the foundation of tempo by playing exclusively on down beats. Meanwhile, the main melodic instrument is the marimba, with the piano sharing the same rhythms but as the accompanying harmony. Both instruments play a repetitive melody comprised of eighth and sixteenth notes.
