Joshamee Gibbs is a character in Kingdom Hearts III. He originated in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
Story
Kingdom Hearts III
Gibbs goes with Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa and Tia Dalma to Davy Jones' Locker. There, Gibbs reunites with Jack Sparrow and also meets Sora, Donald and Goofy.
Sometime after Xehanort's defeat, at Port Royal, Jack and Gibbs spot a ship in the distance.
Personality
Appearance
Gibbs is an aged man with grey hair and a beard which connects to his hair with sideburns. He wears a white long-sleeved shirt rolled up to his forearms with a pale blue-grey vest over it. He has a large black belt, tan pants and black boots.
Origin
Joshamee Gibbs first appeared in the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, portrayed by Kevin McNally. He is a good friend of Jack Sparrow and also serves as his first mate.
Trivia
- Gibbs is the only Pirates of the Caribbean character in the franchise to be voiced by their original film actor.
