Issues: this article needs to be rewritten in the style of Gummi Blocks (KH); add info on Aero/G and Lump/G material gummies

Gummi Blocks in Kingdom Hearts II come in a variety of forms and types that affect a Gummi Ship's stats and abilities during flight.

Mechanics

Material Gummies (マテリアルグミ Materiaru Gumi?) are divided into type by shape, they usually serve as the framework for a Gummi Ship. All Material Gummies that were added in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix have a pink background. Although Material Gummies are listed as if each shape has its own independent stock, all Material Gummies are in fact treated as the same type of Gummi in a single stock, with the builder choosing what shape to mold the Gummi into upon placement.

Projectile Gummies (シューティンググミ Shūtingu Gumi?) are a type of Weapon Gummies (ウェポングミ Wepon Gumi?) which allow a Gummi Ship to fire projectiles at enemy ships in the form of ammunition, dealing damage. Their main advantage is their ability to fire multiple shots rapidly. However, they deal less damage than other Weapon Gummi. Projectile Gummies are all named after iconic spells from the Final Fantasy franchise.

Lock-On Gummies (ロックオングミ Rokkuon Gumi?) grant lasers to a Gummi Ship when equipped.

Slash Gummies (スラッシュグミ Surasshu Gumi?) perform powerful strikes against enemy ships using the Slash Gauge, which fills up as other weapons do damage up to a maximum of nine gauges. An attack can be triggered by pressing Triangle, which uses one Slash Gauge. If more than one Slash Gummi is equipped, pressing Triangle rapidly and repeatedly after the initial strike will result in a combo attack. This only depletes one bar.

Impact Gummies (ストライクグミ Sutoraiku Gumi?) are the most unique Weapon Gummies in Kingdom Hearts II. Unlike the other Weapon Gummies, these Gummi Blocks do not fire projectiles, but instead deal damage when an enemy ship or object collides with the Impact Gummi. If your Gummi Ship is having trouble defeating enemy ships by using Projectile Gummies, try attaching loads of Impact Gummies and ramming the enemy ships. Impact Gummies have much lower costs than Projectile Gummies, so this ramming strategy can work quite well, and is cost-efficient. The only downside is that they are obviously completely useless for enemies that you cannot collide with.

Engine Gummies (エンジングミ Enjin Gumi?) are a type of Movement Gummies (ムーブグミ Mūbu Gumi?), which make them necessary to dodge enemies. Engine Gummies increase Speed, but at the cost of Power. This isn't something to overlook, because this can make your Gummi Ship's weapons much less powerful. With no offense, you'll be a sitting duck for enemies like Hunter and Hunter X. Unlike the Fire-G from Kingdom Hearts, the shapes and designs for the Engine Gummies from Kingdom Hearts II are much more variable. The simpler engines are shaped like traditional jet engines, but there are also propellers and rotors. The names of these Gummi Blocks come from the qualities and types of engines, propellers, and rotors.

The Vernier/G are the most basic of the Engine Gummies. Their shape resembles that of the Engine Gummies from Kingdom Hearts. Their primary color is black, except in the case of the Booster/G, in which the body is red, and the outing is black.

Propeller/G are much weaker than the previous Engine Gummies. Their Cost is less, but their Speed is rather lacking in comparison. They also have the same Power deduction, making them weaker than the Vernier/G. The Propeller/G are only separated by their sizes: Mini, Normal, and Screw. They all are pure white, with a grey tone.

Rotor/G are equivalent to the Propeller/G, but are much larger. They also separated by their size, and comes in two forms. Rotor/G are pure white.

Wing Gummies (ウインググミ Uingu Gumi?) increase mobility.

Cockpit Gummies (コクピットグミ Kokupitto Gumi?) are a type of Auxiliary Gummies (エクストラグミ Ekusutora Gumi?). This means that it is a special type of Gummi Block. Cockpit Gummies supply a great deal of Power, but at the price of Speed. If your Gummi Ship is very weapon-oriented, a powerful Cockpit Gummi would be very helpful to its Power. Unlike the Cockpit Gummies from Kingdom Hearts, these Gummi Blocks' names come from their shape and location of "bubble." There are two types of Cockpit Gummies: Helms and Bridges.

Helm/G are the weaker of the Cockpit Gummies. They all have a similar Cost, HP, and Size, but their Power Bonuses and drawbacks in Speed vary. All of the Helm/G's primary color is red, and their bubble is light blue.

Bridge/G are stronger Cockpit Gummies than the Helm/G. However, they come in less variety. The Bridge/G has about two times as much Cost as any other Cockpit Gummi, but its Power is much more powerful than any of the Helm/G. The shape of the Bridge/G is much more different than that of the Helm/G. Yet, like the Helm/G, Bridge/G have the primary color red, and have a light blue bubble.

Shield Gummies (シールドグミ Shīrudo Gumi?) assist in the defense of a Gummi Ship by blocking specific types of weaponry used by the enemy. They are a more refined version of the Shield-Gs found in Kingdom Hearts.

Optional Gummies (オプショングミ Opushon Gumi?) offer various bonuses and improvements to Gummi Ships when added, usually to a specific attribute. Template:Section-stub
