I've heard that Xalbar was hard and cheap. I beat him in probably two minutes, tops. What makes him so hard?

I also don't understand how people found him a problem. I beat him without using king mickey on proud mode (I havent fought him on final mix though). Although he is definately harder than other bosses, because to beat Xaldin I had to do a set pattern of attack, which was simply to go into Valor form and when Xaldin begins to use his mass jump ability, you use your increased speed in Valor form to run quickly in and out of the jump novas to quickly stack the jump abilities and then spam it. I also found that anti-form worked remarkably well on him...

I suppose it depends on ones level of skill. I found Xaldin to be one of the hardest bosses in the game (aside from Sephirothe) the first few times I played it. But after I got experience and leveled up my forms before fighting him, I was able to defeat him in one try on Proud mode. --ShadowXemnas 12:53, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
