It's a type of Blog, read more here. The purpose of this thread is to ask everyone how they feel about having it hear. Will it cause more deadweight users? Should we try it first? What do you all think? There is an option to disable the blog articles. We need an answer by Tuesday evening.

Ah well, it's been more than a week... but still. I don't use it, and I find it annoying how the RC are sometimes cluttered with new blog comments... and I don't know why it annoys me every time blog comments appear as they are considered new pages... --Yer mom 03:34, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Used when people have something to say, or want to rant on about their fanboi dreams and other things.

Just because we're kids doesn't mean we can't run a business— 19:45, 30 June 2009 (UTC) I think that Wikis should not be turned into blogspots... and it seems kind of useless here... and if this is intended to increase the wikis social-side, it's definitely a waste of time, since we are (by my standards) super-social already! But I agree with you there, Yer Mom, that these blogs are most likely just what you'd put on your userspace, but with a comment section! I also agree with Ultima, that it should be tested before declined. and who knows, maybe it'll turn out to be good for the wiki (or something...)

We have plenty of places for people to socialize already, and plenty of issues with the ones we've got. It might be good for something like a fanon wiki, but it doesn't look like something we need at the moment.
