Back then in the 80s and 90s, Capcom released a chunk of awesome video game adaptations of Disney-related franchises such as Aladdin and Ducktales. Square is dandy and all, but it seemed like they sold out to look prettier as with the case of FFVII. Now this is just my own personal opinion. Kingdom Hearts is awesome, but still, it seems like Disney sold its soul to look prettier and they've been sufferin' the same downfall as Square has as well.

Too bad Capcom couldn't join in on the deal, because then we would get: 1) Capcom characters in Kingdom Hearts...Chun-Li, Mega Man, and Viewtiful Joe can join your party, and an Amaterasu summon for the win!
2) Capcom could get the Marvel license back and then we would have "Marvel vs. Capcom vs. Disney vs. Square". Bonus points if they get Namco and SNK in there, too. So, it would basically be an officially licensed M.U.G.E.N.

For a good reason, look at the types of games Capcom have recently worked on that would be closest to Kingdom Hearts - MegaMan ZX and the Zelda games. Fun in their own right, but not sustainable for the length of time a Kingdom Hearts game can keep interest.
