This is a screenshot from the game.

This is a representation of the station, drawn by Kousen.

In his own words:

I was planning to put my drawing when Rony finished coloring, but thanks to :iconthylings: uploads, I was able to renderize the official art and use it. I finished the background before he started uploading, so i had to make it out from an in-game image X_x

Thanks to :icondj-sugar: for the template and :iconlabian9999: for the Keyblade Master Emblem, wich I edited to look more like the real thing <3

I'm actually the artist who remade the image through the reference of an ingame picture. Someone messaged me that if you needed my art I could lend you a hand and upload it here w/o watermarks. You can check it on my deaviantART: http://kousen-wolf.devian

When you say you're the artist who made it - did you rip the sprites from the game and merely put the pieces back together, or did you have to actually illustrate stuff?Glorious CHAOS! 02:01, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

The only thing I used from the game was Ventus, I made the rest myself. Kousen 11:13, June 22, 2010 (UTC)Kousen

For further background, he made it to partner with this: [1]. It was not originally intended as a rip, it was intended as fan-art.

This is the original station, directly ripped from the game.

Ignoring for the second that the image is fan-art, it has several errors. Ventus is "marbled" in the same manner as the rest of the pillar, while in the other pillars, ripped directly from the game, there is no marbling on Ventus. There also appears to be a jagged discontinuity in the pillar around where the watermark used to be. It is also a ".jpg", instead of the higher-quality, non-degrading ".png" used for the rest of the page. However, these are the only errors I have found so far.

...

Several editors are of the opinion that we should ignore the no-fanart policy in this instance. Hypocritically, I agree with them. If Kousen can resubmit the image, without the errors, then I think its nature as a fan-reproduction should let it slide (just this once). However, this would be a violation of a policy which we have enforced quite strictly over the last year, so I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of this, and was okay with it.

Although no one has found a rippable version of the image yet, it is always possible that someone could find it in the future, and we could use that version. Basically, this is a question of whether we can allow the current screenshot to remain at all.

If anyone has a problem with this, please state it.

Thanks.Glorious CHAOS! 06:15, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

It's a fantastic image and apparently an accurate one as well, but I don't like the idea of making an exception to the policy. It's unfair to the rest of the fanart we removed on the grounds that the policy was against it. I believe an image for Vanitas's Keyblade that was accurate was removed for exactly that reason. It would cheapen the integrity of the wiki.LapisLazuliScarab06:20, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

To be fair, that Keyblade image had a clearly fake handle. Not only was it conjecture, but it wasn't even of the same quality as the rest of the thing.Glorious CHAOS! 06:30, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Reading the errors quoted before, I tried to fix the image taking off the marble effect from Ventus and I tried my best to correct the discontinuity by editing the image I saved before adding the watermark. The fixed version can be seen here I hope this helps the wiki, at least until someone finds the real texture in the game (I've been looking for it with a ripping tool, but it still doesn't appear anywhere) Kousen 13:25, June 23, 2010 (UTC)Kousen

This should be a stickied thread.LapisLazuliScarab20:18, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

NEVERMIND.

Shard found this beautiful rip, and it turns out that they were actually several more errors. So, the editors that advised caution, thank you.
