Eternal Flames KHD.png So throughout the Kingdom Hearts Series, bosses often reward players with items or abilities upon defeating them. However, not all of these rewards are... rewarding. For example, in KHII, the fenrir (strongest weapon in the game) is a reward for defeating Sephiroth (the strongest boss in the game) and since you could only defeat him once, the amount of strength you possessed is useless when you take the Ultima Weapons MP Haste into play. So, what are some of the most useless rewards that you've earned in the series? Eternal Flames KHD.png

I would say the Metal Chocobo in KHFM is pretty useless. For some reason they made the Olympia stronger in both Strength and Magic in the Final Mix version of the game, and since you get them in the same cup, you don't even have the time to equip the Metal Chocobo before obtaining the stronger Olympia. The same is also true for the Oblivion and Divine Rose, where the Divine Rose's increased stats make the Oblivion pretty useless, but the Oblivion isn't a reward, so that probably doesn't count.

Since you get the MC for defeating Cloud, you could theoretically if you were able to beat Cloud but not finish the cup, you could use the Metal Chocobo to get the job done. It's still pretty niche though, yeah.
For Fenrir, I feel like that's a lot less niche. Yeah, by the time you get it you've beaten pretty much any boss that you would use it on, but it is absolutely essential to several of the Journal requirements for various missions, so it definitely shows it's worth there. There's also the FM component to it, where it is useful against the Mushrooms and Data Replicas."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:46, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
