well i does hear other users saying the next game is a spin-off :P
First of all, if it ever is a spin-off, obviously Sora has to star in it. He's the driving force behind the entire series, for goodness' sake.
And secondly, the events of Coded and Reconnect have already shown what Sora's going to have to do in the next game : save Roxas, Ventus, Axel, Xion, Namine, Terra and Aqua.

Nomura stated that Sora will be the star of the KH games but Nomura also stated that he won't be themain character of the next game
So we have a few possibilities :
If it is a spinoff, then it'd be the events that Riku went through to awaken Sora. Or otherwise :
It could tell of Xehanort's past.
It could be Riku's and/or Kairi's story.
It could be either one of TAV's stories (most likely Aqua, since Terra and Ventus are not in physical form at all... or we don't know where they actually are, or who they actually are now.)

okay i found a link [1] and I think that it is one of the two firsts since keiri don't have much story and aqua is in the realm of darkness

well we can speculate, but we may never really know for sure, until it comes out, but a hole year I'm not sure if I can wait that long so the only thing we can do is speculate, although there going to have to make another one about Sora somtime, I agree that he is the drivving force behind Kingdom Hearts
