I've noticed that absolutely no one is keeping these sections even remotely updated on the front page. Yet, they take up the most space after Traverse Town. As such, to me, they just seem like unnecessary clutter. So! I propose to tidy things up a bit and take them down altogether - unless someone here is up to the task of actually updating them regularly. Just so that it's out there...lol, I decline. We already have a hundred and one fansites out there, two of which we're strongly affiliated with, who already do a much better job with that and that the fans will go to for the news. --Ignis (talk) 08:18, 29 October 2016 (UTC)

We need to keep the Trinity Archives because it's a platform to publicise wiki news. Because of the inactivity these days, we've stopped doing community events like the magazine, podcast, let's play etc so it doesn't get updated. I don't see the point of covering game news there though. I've never been in favour of Daybreak Town, it's essentially a featured project and there are already spaces to advice projects (Traverse Town, Featured Project). The only reason why I didn't object to its removal is due to the main lack of important news these days so I considered it as an acceptable loss. Besides both of the countdown sections alone are enough for now, without the need for a news section. -Adv193 (talk) 01:55, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
TSH is right, the trinity archives are also used for wiki news, so maybe we could probably hide it until the drought is over, but it shouldn't be removed completely. I don't think the Daybreak Town section was a bad idea, but without updates it's not useful and should have been put on the Unchained wiki in the first place, so I'm all for removing it. --ShardofTruth 07:45, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
