Since this is the first time we're getting a DLC expansion, and since we now know a little about what it contains, it's about time we decide how to handle KH3 Re Mind. Do we want to treat it as a Final Mix version, or just part of KH3, or something in-between? There are a few things to decide:
  • Game icon: We already have an icon for Re Mind. Do we want to use this only for new things in Re Mind, use it for all things in Re Mind (like the Final Mix icons), or don't use it and use the regular KH3 icon instead?
  • Game mention: In infoboxes and leads and section headers, etc., do we want to mention Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind, or just Kingdom Hearts III?
  • File names: Do we want to use the KHIIIRM tag for Re Mind stuff, or just use the KHIII tag?
  • Story sections: Maybe we don't know enough to decide this now, but it looks like Re Mind is a separate story after KH3, so do we want a separate section, or just combine it in the KH3 section?

Personally, I think we should treat it as a Final Mix, so have a separate icon on everything that's in it (shouldn't be as much as regular Final Mixes if it's just a separate scenario), mention Re Mind for exclusive stuff, and use the KHIIIRM tag for images. I'm not sure on the story section. We also merge the KHX/KHUX story sections, so maybe we'll have to wait and see what the story is first.

I agree with everything except for the tag images - KHIIIRM is a touch too wordy, or...letter-y. So either just the KHIII tag, or KH3RM. As for the X/UX stuff, I've already noticed that we're painfully, hilariously behind with the current updates. Like, around two-years missing sort of behind. That needs to be fixed first before merging anything. --Samoa Joe (talk) 18:39, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
KHIIIRM isn't any longer than KHBBSFM or KHRECOM. We can't use KH3RM because it's never called 3 officially. And I know we're behind on KHUX stuff, I only used it as an example of keeping Re Mind story under the KH3 header, because we also keep Union X story under the KHX header. I think looking at how other wikis handle DLC expansions would be a good reference? I do think we should probably wait to see where the story goes first, but I agree we should probably treat it like we do with Final Mix.--NinjaSheik 20:43, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

TheSilentHero Ah well. Can't all be heroes. TheSilentHero 12:22, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
We need to decide what we will do with the game icon.
  • It makes sense to give everything in the Re Mind, Limitcut, and Secret episodes the icon. (This would include all equipment, items, abilities, etc.)
  • With the EZ code and PRO code affecting the base game, as well as all journal entries and Classic Kingdom etc. being available in Re Mind, do we want to just add the icon to everything in the base game? Nomura said it can be considered the same as a Final Mix, but it's just a separate addition instead of a full rerelease like Final Mix.
  • Data Greeting has some things (like all Dream Eaters) that do not appear in the base game. Do we want to use the icon for these? And should we mention it on those pages (Other Appearance section, maybe)?

EDIT: Whatever we decide, please don't add icons yourself. We do it with the bot to prevent flooding of the RC.

I think we should do it with content and characters that are just in Re Mind, because it isn't a Final Mix. Like, you can't add the Re Mind icon to Rapunzel for example because she's nowhere to be seen in any of the Re Mind content - not even Data Greeting. That's just my two cents though. --Samoa Joe (talk) 12:52, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
Don't all Dream Eaters from the Data Greeting appear during the finish of Meow Wow? Anyway, even though Re Mind is separate from KHIII, unlike previous FMs, it's cant be played without KHIII. Therefore I would treat it like a FM on the wiki. If they didn't share content at all I'd agree to keep the pages separate too but that's not the case.
Still, the next game might have more DLCs which will make this whole affair more painful. In this case we should simply clear up how content is exchanged between the game and the addons on the addon's page and just use addon's icon on every new content page. --ShardofTruth 13:28, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
If it's gonna have more DLC down the road, then even more important to keep it distinct - to know what's from where. --Samoa Joe (talk) 19:23, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
