Not official ? Particularly not released from any source ? Don't put it in. Only put it in when you have a source, or when the information is blatantly obvious (like, Sora having a change of hair colour between the first two games). Maybe we can say something like; "There is speculation that the Twilight Thorn has a name which is Flailer", or something like that. I'll keep lookingfor it in other sites.

I don't know where Flailer would come from. Probably just a fan thing that has to do with the way that Twilight Thorn moves.

Let's just put it this way : if we were to allow speculation to flood the pages, it'd be too much for a page to handle. Actually that name was was once mentioned on the website khinsider, and was used to refer to the nobody dusk, not twilight thorn. I think it was just a fan name made to be able to easily refer to that specific nobody instead of just calling it "that tight suit white skinny thing that moves in the air like a fish".

TALK - The cloaked man is Roxas as an Organization member, as is painfully obvious. He has the same height, and the scene mirrors Sora's meeting with his shadow and the Darkside in KH1.

Honestly, we don't have any proof that it even exists. I mean, Darksides have shown up outside of Dive into the Heart, but we can't say the same about the Twilight Thorn.—Urutapu 18:41, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

I don't think it is a low-ranking Nobody. Obviously not as high as Organization XIII, but not below dusks and samurai. It's probably just in the middle. Of course I don't have proof for that, I'm just assuming.--Xsonicdragon 22:39, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

All of the high-ranking Nobodies say "this is a high-ranking Nobody" in their journal entry, and are associated with an Organization member. That's why they're high-ranking (it's not about power, it's about military hierarchy). Twilight Thorn does not list that it is high-ranking, just like the Creeper and Dusk don't, which doesn't mean it's not powerful - just that it's subservient to all members instead of just one.Glorious CHAOS! 07:07, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

I've heard some claims that this is Axel, and while I believe that the scene is a strong parallel of Sora's awakening, the figure seems to very slightly have Axel's more feminine form, though he seems to have Roxas's height. Can anyone else provide input here? I personally can't figure out what Axel would be doing there, and it doesn't seem like him to be both silent and avoiding the fight. On a related note, the article needs to reword all of the "it's Roxas" bits from their current super-speculatory form. A better way to word it, I think, is to say something like "a figure that seems to share Roxas's figure", or something else less absolute.

Nitrous X Merry Christmas! — I have identified the scent. It is...Christmas! "When did that happen? You were always terrified of Santa before-" Okay, here's a theory.... I think that each Nobody has the dormant ability to summon a "Guardian" of some sort, but they have to be REALLY powerful for it to work. For example Xemnas's Dragoon Ship and Marluxia's Spectre. I also think that the guardians can turn on their masters if they leave the Organization or are ordered to by Xemnas (for example: Roxas's Twilight Thorn). While I'm on the subject of the Twilight Thorn being Roxas' "Guardian", I'm going to add this: Roxas was in the Awakening when he fought the Twilight Thorn, so if the Awakening truly happens in the heart, then that means his dormant "Guardian" attacked him.... I dunno, maybe it's possible.

TALK - It's nice to have darkness on my side.{{{time}}} Your theory of a "Guardian" make sense but if it is really true i don't think that Twilight Torn is Roxas "Guardian" cuz he attacked Roxas and not tryied to rescue him, much like when the Assassins attacked Axel

the Eidolons in FF13 serve as protectors of the party members. they are the physical embodiment of their will and emotions. an Eidolon appears before their human when they are in a sad, almost suicidal state of mind, then casts doom on them to get them to fight for their life. after fighting their Eidolon, and beating it in battle, the doom spell is removed as their human has regained their will to fight and live another day. from that point they serv as the players summon, each character only getting one summon.

another interesting thing about Eidolons in 13, each playable character, accept Hope, their Eidolon is the opposite gender than they are. Ixbran 09:00, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Hence accentuating the suggestiveness a bit more.

Now, I wouldn't say TT is an Eidolon, but it's more like a lesser Nobody being called upon by OXIII to serve the purpose of bringing Roxas back. And since the Awakening is something which takes place within a heart, we might be able to assume that 1) Roxas has a heart, 2) it's a test of Roxas' willpower. i don't think that SE was trying to go for suggestive Themes when giving the summons their genders. i think its supposed to support the fact that a persons Eidolon is meant to be a Life Partner. sort of like a marriage, but only for the sake of combat, and NOT romantic reason. The Eidolon protecting their human.

i think the only reason the character, Hope, is cut form this is because hes only 14, too young to be given a Guardian to represent a Life Partner. so he is given a summon that acts more like a Fatherly Protector, than a Life Partner Protector. but that's just my theory on the whole thing. I was saying suggestiveness after seeing Snow's Eidolon. I seem to be okay with Vanille's and the like, and even Lightning's Eidolon seems reasonable. But Snow Viliers has taken suggestiveness to plain obvious, blatant, profanity splayed out for all the world to see. Well, what would we expect ? TROISNYX AMDG 01:59, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

BigHeadZack - You shouldn't judge anyone by appearance. TALK - If the subject fails to respond, use aggression to liberate his true disposition. Just putting in out there that this theory does make since, as before Roxas fights the TT, he sees a black cloaked man. This could have been his 'guardian' being released and taking on it's true form.
