Barrier Surge is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It allows the user to rush forward a short distance while cloaked in a barrier, which deflects attacks and projectiles.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Barrier Surge is an Advanced attack command that takes up one slot in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 3, and a normal reload time of 15 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 10%.

- Aqua can obtain Barrier Surge from a chest at the Foyer.
- Aqua can create Barrier Surge through Command Melding.
- Aqua can buy Barrier Surge from the Moogle Shop for 500 munny once five worlds are cleared or the command has already been obtained elsewhere.
- Aqua can obtain Barrier Surge by purchasing Cinderella's Barrier Surge panel on the Royal Board.
