When using Quick Run, Sora dashes across the battlefield while gliding over the ground.

Air Slide (エアスライド Ea Suraido?), translated as Quick Run in Kingdom Hearts II, is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts II.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Quick Run is a growth ability that costs 2 AP to equip. It allows Sora to perform an aerial dash at ground level by pressing Square. Leveling it up increases the maximum distance covered when Square is held down. If Guard is equipped, Quick Run can only be executed by also tilting the left analog stick, and if Dodge Roll is equipped, it can only be executed by holding Square for the duration of the technique.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Air Slide is an ability panel that can be leveled up from Air Slide LV1 to Air Slide LV2, Air Slide LV3, Air Slide LV4, and Air Slide LV5 by linking Air Slide LV+ Ⓛ (エアアップⓁ Ea Appu Ⓛ?, lit. "Air Up Ⓛ") panels. Air Slide allows the user to perform an aerial dash while in midair, and leveling it up increases the number of times Roxas can dash before touching the ground. It is activated by pressing B while in midair.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Air Slide is a movement command. The ability is activated by pressing Square while in midair, and leveling it up increases the distance covered. However, it must be used with a directional tap if Barrier is equipped.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Air Slide is a Bonus Booster ability that can be leveled up from Air Slide Lv.1 to Air Slide Lv.2 and Air Slide Lv.3. It is activated by pressing B while in midair, and leveling it up increases the number of times Data-Sora can dash before touching the ground. Each dash can be done in rapid succession, or mixed in with Glides.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Air Slide is a movement command. The ability is activated by pressing Y (Square in Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD) while in midair, but it must be used with a directional tap if Dark Barrier is equipped. It can be used to initiate Flowmotion. This iteration of Air Slide has more recovery and halts more amounts of momentum than its Birth by Sleep iteration.

In Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, Air Slide is a default ability that is activated by pressing Square with a directional tap.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories

In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Riku's standard Dodge Roll is replaced with a movement skill that aesthetically resembles Quick Run whenever he is in Dark Mode. The player can use this technique by holding down the analog stick in the desired direction of travel and pressing Square.
