After waking up, Lauriam accepts the truth about who really killed his sister and fights alongside his comrades. With Player's arrival, he rebelled in confidence that they could defeat the Darkness and return to the real world. The entity scoffed at them, asking how they would accomplish it, and he replied by using the lifeboat as Maleficient had. However, he and the others were ridiculed for their cluelessness as the entity explained the true purpose of the lifeboat and how with Maleficient's departure, the lockdown had already started. As that sank in, Lauriam stated that they were nothing but pawns. Despite them briefly defeating the entity, it was unable to be destroyed with no form. Afterwards the Darklings appear, and Lauriam realizes they were after Ventus. He and the others watch as their unconscious comrade rises up enveloped in light, which dispells the creatures of darkness.
