Reaching the Ark room the group discovers that the room is wrecked with only five pods left and with the data world deteriorating further the Union Leaders had to be quick. So they split up, Lauriam goes with Brain and Ventus to the real world in order to search for clues about his sister with Elrena accompanying her while the others stay behind.{{storylink|Quest 978: What Comes After}} | |||
Seeing the world being destroyed and aware that everyone couldn't be saved in an attempt to save Player, Ephemer and Skuld; Luariam and the others are launched by Brain into the future but was hesitant on leaving Brain but his comrade said it's only way to keep hope alive. He is reminded to keep his goal as a waypoint before leaving he hoped that they would meet again and that his heart is his guiding key but just before Lauriam and the others left he noticed the place starting to break apart and was greatly concerned for his friend as he was sent off.
