| Phantom Aqua, aside from being a physical reflection of Aqua, is also a physical reflection of her dark side. Compared to Aqua's more kind and optimistic personality, Phantom Aqua is rather cold, negative and stoic in her words and actions. She is shown to taunt Aqua during her time in The World Within by filling Aqua's own heart with darkness and laughing at her in battle.

Phantom Aqua can also use a rather powerful version of the [[Spellweaver]] [[Command Style]].
