Role
Stitch, also known as Experiment 626, was created By scientist Jumba Jookiba and considers Lilo and Nani to be family. He also has 627 "cousins", Alien experiments created by Jumba before Stitch.(with the exception of 627 and 628 which Jumba made when he was annoyed at Stitch's arrogance.)The green, one-eyed alien named Pleakly is also considered family.
Stitch is one of two summons during Kingdom Hearts two that makes a difference to the storyline. His first appearance is when Sora, Donald and Goofy go into the corridors leading to Ansem's Study. During the next cutscene, he drops down onto the keyboard of the computer. Donald jumps onto the keyboard to grab him, but he jumps off. As Donald turns around, he mashes the keys, causing the MCP to be alerted.

Later, in a cutscene showing the Final Fantasy characters fighting Heartless in the Great Maw, Stitch is seen fighting alongside them. His weapons in the cutscene are his blasters from Lilo & Stitch.
While explaining his creation to the Galactic Council early on in Lilo & Stitch, Dr. Jumba gives the following rundown of Stitch's powers: "He is bulletproof, fireproof, and can think faster than [a] super computer. He can see in the dark and can move objects 3,000 times his size. His only instinct - to destroy everything he touches!"

Stitch was created to destroy, hate, and kill. Jumba's reasoning for his creation and purpose are unknown. He gathered DNA from the most ferocious creatures and fused them together. Unfortunately for him puppy DNA was accidentally mixed into the machine and made stitch koala-like.
Summon
Stitch is unique as a summon because he does not actually enter the field when summoned; he instead jumps and crawls around the HUD features. His Limit attack is 'Aloha!', in which Sora uses the Keyblade as a guitar while Stitch also plays on a ukelele. Stitch erratically replenishes HP and MP by licking the gauges.
