Hearing the story of the duo's adventure as well as mentioning what they saw and believing the Darklings were behind the glitches more what Brain suspected earlier turned out to be true they were put in a data version of Daybreak Town with Ventus believing that the real one was destroyed. Ventus was informed of the names on the memo are Brain, Ephemer, Skuld, Lauriam and Strelitzia; with his not on the list, much to his own shock.
