Vexen was not suppose to be killed, it's all fault of Axel, he was thinking that Vexen want to betray the organisation like Marluxia and the others.--Hotdragon 295 01:54, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
:-Facepalm- try reading the article. No wait, I'll just tell ya. Marluxia told Axel to "Elimanate the Traitor." and was refering to Vexen. Axel had been baiting him into saying this so he could take advantage of the order. Axel then killed Vexen and returned, and was accepted by Marluxia and Larxene into their plan. Next we see Axel taking advantage of Maluxia's order to elimate the traitor to turn on him and try and kill him. THAT is why Axel killed Vexen. --Evnyofdeath 20:14, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Should it be added that Vex means to disturb and annoy in little ways, and that, ironically, Vexen does so to most fans? Or should that be left out due to it being opinion?--72.240.185.120 23:29, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

I'll be fine with it, actually. Though, I still want to feel happiness and joy, of course. I can get Vexen, but Xaldin is one of the members that I don't get very well. He's very complex.-- 01:47, November 17, 2009 (UTC)
I have a comment to make on this segment:
"Ironically, Vexen's throne is the lowest of the Organization in their meeting chamber known as Where Nothing Gathers. This is mostly due to his recurring incompetence and preference of not sullying his hands like Zexion, though the latter can easily hold his own in battle. This also reinforces the trait of cowardice in Vexen, displayed through his fear of Xemnas and his fear of death."
This contradicts what was stated in the article for the Castle That Never Was:
"Tetsuya Nomura himself has stated in an interview that the height of each throne is just a gameplay mechanic.
-During the meetings, the members of Organization XIII are sitting in chairs. Is the height of these chairs determined by things like their skills and abilities?
Nomura: No, the height of the chairs is not fixated, they move. That is to say, the height is up to each person. The leader, Xemnas, is always the highest and to be at the same height as him would have a pretty bad feeling, so the other members wouldn't do that. (laughs)"
Although I'm not saying that Vexen definitely isn't one of the most least-respected members in the organization. :P It is interesting to think that he chooses for his throne to be the lowest, especially considering that he is so fixated on numbers and ranks. Hmmm.
Maybe the others were faster and when he was chosing everybody was sitting :) - Jurrak

Can it not be argued...
That Vexen indirectly caused the Organization's downfall? His Replica program created Xion, the death of whom caused Roxas to run back to try and free Kingdom Hearts. This results in Roxas' capture, proceed to merge with Sora, and boom, Sora goes ahead and kills Organization XIII.173.79.58.137

About the Replica Program
I am wondering: did Vexen directly create Xion? In the article, it simply says that he supervised over the Replica program, but his Secret Reports make it sound as though he created Xion himself, as he did with the Riku Replica ("No. i, my finest replica"). Should this be included, or is it unimportant? 173.58.106.138 01:35, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

Derek Stephen Prince's podcast?
Kingdom Hearts World apparently has an interview with Derek Stephen Prince, you can listen to it here. Make what you will of it. That's cool. I'll have a listen to it tomorrow, but is there any neat information in the interview?-- 03:59, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
{{TNE|time=12:20, 11 July 2015 (UTC)|text=Having listened to it, I can gather these:
*When Prince recorded a lot of the stuff he was doing, HE RECORDED VEXEN'S VOICE IN A CAR. He recorded it in a laptop to a pre-amp, connected to a mic with a pop shelter, and that is basically the garage version. He also did a lot of audition stuff in his car. HE AUDITIONED FOR KINGDOM HEARTS THAT WAY. (They obviously wanted the best people to VA, and there were 887-odd VAs auditioning for Vexen -- he beat them all by simply recording in his car.)
*When asked "Where did you draw inspiration for Vexen," he said a lot of Vexen is there for the Japanese version. The original VA wasn't high and mighty according to Prince, but rather had a calm and educated voice, but could be maniacal if he wanted to. Now the producers didn't want Vexen to have an accent -- they simply wanted Vexen to be American -- but Prince decided to throw in some (Tim Curry???) in there. Flamboyance was what he went for.
*He did try Re:Chain of Memories and couldn't get into it. He couldn't get past the first world (Traverse Town)...
*Even (whom he also voiced) didn't have as much an impact on him as Vexen did, to the point that Prince doesn't remember Even at all. He was only in recording Even's lines for an hour, as opposed to five hours per day on Vexen -- where he really got involved. He found Even "a little less flamboyant" and "not as intellectual". He, too, believes that the writers could have done more with the apprentices, but knows that the challenge faced by the writers is to focus on the Disney stuff, which the kids can most relate to.
So that's what I gathered.
}}

This would all be great info for a Development section.

At the end
Is there any confirmation that Vexen regains his heart after the final battle? The edit that put it on his page says that he no longer has yellow eyes during the end scene, but that has nothing to do with whether he is a Nobody or complete person. The yellow eyes were just signifying that they had a piece of Xehanort's heart in them; otherwise, the original Organization XIII would all have had yellow eyes from the start. So his green(edit) eyes now would just be a sign that he is no longer a vessel for Xehanort, which would make sense since Xehanort is officially gone now. Unless there was something I missed? ::Points in favour of being Even instead of Vexen in the ending: Saix faded away, and when Isa returned, he lacks ‘Nort’s signature yellow eyes or pointed ears (I think the implication is that it triggered some sort of “purge”). Xigbar didn’t fade like the others, and when he appears in the epilogue, he does have them. Then again, Xigbar’s situation is unique, so… Ultima Spark (talk) 11:59, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
