Imagine to play all the games in chronological order (thing that I do EVERY year, becuase I like it XD), will be really odd finish BBS and then start AFP for how the game is made, if a player that never play any game decide to start with the chronological order and he play: KHX->BBS->AFP->KH1 ecc... then he will be really confused by AFP because he didn't play DDD, so the correct order will be: KHX->BBS->KH1->CoM->358->KH2->KHC->DDD->AFP->KH3 (p.s. :Playing the series in chronological order for your first time would be confusing in the first place, because they're not created to be played in that order. That may be the order the events happened, but that's not the order the series actually goes in, as a fictional story being told.
