Mickey Mouse: Difference between revisions

Sora, Donald and Goofy initially enter [[Castle Oblivion]] believing the King to be there, but he does not enter the castle until Riku awakens in [[Castle Oblivion]] and is attacked by Ansem. Mickey sends a bit of his light to help Riku's heart fight him off, and sends more of his power in the form of a hologram after Riku learns to "smell" the darkness. He gets Riku to promise to keep fighting, and promises that in return he will soon be by his side. When Riku is knocked unconscious by Lexaeus long enough for Ansem to possess him once again, Mickey's light appears within Riku's heart to keep Ansem at bay. Afterward, Mickey reveals that he had found a [[Twilight Town]] world card, which had taken him from the Realm of Darkness to Castle Oblivion. Mickey meets Riku at the world's exit, where they both meet [[DiZ]], who seems familiar to Mickey.

Before Riku goes to eliminate the last traces of Ansem, he tries to get Mickey to promise to destroy him if Ansem possesses him again, but Mickey dismisses the request and promises to instead rescue Riku no matter what. After Ansem is defeated, Mickey rescues Riku from the darkness and takes him to the castle's entrance hall. He calms Riku's concerns about the darkness by explaining that although he originally thought it was pure evil and shouldn't exist, he respects Riku's choice to use both light and darkness. When Riku thanks "your Majesty", Mickey laughs and says that, as a friend, Riku can just call him "Mickey" from now on.

After leaving the Castle, Mickey and Riku meet DiZ at a crossroads, who presents them with [[black coat]]s to hide them from the Organization, asks Riku whether he has chosen to follow the roads of light or darkness. Riku instead chooses the "twilight road to dawn", and the two friends walk past.
