:::I always saw that symbol more like Eraqus' symbol considering Master Xehanort doesn't wear one and the trio all wear one without being masters, even aqua before the exam, and Ven doesn't wear it until he becomes Eraqus' pupil, not to mention it being the charm on his keyblade's keychain. No, Eraqus only said that they both "performed commendably". The cutscene ends in when the fight has only just started, and the winner isn't mentioned.
