Iron Imprisoner: Difference between revisions

Line 82: Line 82:
The boss's final form, and its most powerful one yet. It retains its old moves with some new ones. The cage it traps you with is now on fire and will damage you on contact. It also has an attack where it sucks you in close before releasing a large explosion. During another new attack, it will possess the room, turning it red and causing the tiles to fly off and attack. The strategy for the third form is also effective here, though because of the Iron Imprisoner IV's increased strength and ferocity, the player should be more cautious. When the boss possesses the stage, the player can either choose to stay in one place and block constantly to defend against the flying debris, or simply Dodge Roll, Cartwheel, or Slide around  to evade damage. It would also be wise to equip a Vanish command, which can be bought in the medal store, as when you are invisible, there is less chance that its attacks will be in your direction, giving you a chance to heal or use a shotlock.

You would also probably want to unequip Payback Fang as when the boss does it's Spinning Fire technique, you can Slide, Cartwheel or Dodge Roll away easier.

Another alternative to winning is to equip two Mega Flares (To easily clear out levels before the Iron Imprisoner IV) One Curaga and a Hi-potion (just in case you need a quick heal) And for the rest of the slots equip Firagas. The Iron Imprisoner IV and all it's previous forms, will be stunned if it is hit by a Firaga, that will leave an opening for you to use a shotlock or do melee damage. You can also use Sonic Blade as it stuns the boss too. Time splicer can be rather useful at times too but only if you have good timing. You can equip the 'Heal Strike' finish command for Terra to make things easier(Though the command meter will be hard to fill up as you rarely have the opportunity to strike.).
