Pinocchio is a 1940 American animated film produced by Walt Disney and based on the story The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. Pinocchio is originally a puppet that the woodworker Geppetto made. After he finished the Puppet, Geppetto wished on a falling star that the puppet would live and become a real boy. Later that night, the Blue Fairy visited Geppetto's workshop and grants Pinocchio life, though he is still a puppet. If Pinnochio wishes to become a real boy, he must prove himself to be brave, truthful and unselfish and able to tell right from wrong by listening to his conscience.
