'''Jafar''' is a recurring villain in the ''[[Kingdom Hearts]]'' games. Jafar at times seems to be second-in command of [[Maleficent]]'s [[Hellfire Club]], possessing a great deal of authority in meetings and being regarded with a great deal of respect from the witch herself. Noticeably after his defeat the villain's meetings are fewer and more chaotic. This may be a play on the fact that Jafar and Maleficent are often portrayed as a couple when crossovers occur.
