Before the battle begins, make sure to load your characters slots with a good mix of ethers, hi-potions, and elixirs. [[Peter Pan]] is necessary to have in your party if you want to start the battle, but it is more strategic to include [[Goofy]] with his MP Gift ability. Scince they will drain MP and be useless, take off any special, MP consuming attacks from [[Sora]] and Goofy and replace them with MP restoring abilities.
 
As soon as the fight starts, lock on to the clock tower and cast [[Stop]] to halt the Phantom's oblivion spell. It will then reveal it's weakness, which are stated above. Once you hit it once, the weakness will change. Hit it tree times and the orb will disappear for a short time while the Phantom attacks. It has two attacks now. It may try to swipe you: quickly descend or ascend while flying at it to avoid this. It may also fly to the clock tower and shoot a ball of energy at you. To avoid this, fly to a different face of the tower to avoid this. While you're there, cast stop again. The Phantom does this every other attack, so you should be able to cast stop often enough. It should also be noticed that when Peter Pan runs out of items, you should avoid wasting magic on him science he isn't much help during the fight.
