Mechanics[edit]

The objective of this mini-game is to play golf. The "CONTROLLER" buttons can be used to aim, and the "ACTION" button to hit the ball.

The game starts by choosing between 3, 9, or 18 holes. Each hole has two phases. The first phase shows a flag in the distance, with the distance displayed at the top of the screen. Sora can aim with the "CONTROLLER" buttons, and pressing the "ACTION" button makes a rectangle move across the screen in the aimed direction, indicating the strength of the hit. Pressing the "ACTION" button again makes Sora hit the ball. When nearing the hole, the green is shown on the field. Making the ball land on the green starts the next phase.

In this phase, the screen is zoomed in, and divided into squares. One square contains the hole. Sora can aim and hit the ball like before, but the grass around the hole may contain waves that can alter the ball's direction. If the ball enters the hole, the hole is completed, and the next one starts.

The field may contain several obstacles that can intervene with Sora's golfing, including animals, bunkers, water traps, and long grass. Occassionally, a strong wind may blow, altering the ball's trajectory.

The score is determined by the PAR of each hole, and the amount of shots it takes for Sora to hit the ball into the hole. The score can be negative, and a lower score indicates a better performance.

Origin[edit]
