...so, im not seeing this in 2.5. Did anyone actually check before adding the game icons?~ Pete has Victory Pose, not Taunt."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro)

Odd. He has that in the original. Then again, 2.5 is full of surprises.....Troisnyx 09:30, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
I think it's called victory pose in hd 2.5. RikutheBloody 12:45, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Taunt and Victory Pose are two different abilities AFAIK. Did they actually replace Taunt with Victory Pose in 2.5? Because I remember that you actually taunted enemies to force them to attack you, a case of drawing the aggro to yourself.

It'd be really sucky if they replaced it with Victory Pose, an ability that can already be used normally. I haven't gotten to the point of using Pete's D-Link yet, but I'll confirm if this is the case. Troisnyx 13:24, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Pete's D-Link definitely uses Victory Pose. All instances of Taunt have been switched for Victory Pose, as Taunt no longer has any use in a 1-player game. (Friend Cure has been kept in because it can be used to defy the "Tough As Nails" condition, and also tricks the game code into thinking you played a multiplayer mirage arnea battle, so you get more medals). Gamefaqs confirms, Taunt does not exist in 2.5, and it's stuff like this which is exactly why I'm such a hard-ass about confirming each article actually appears in a game before adding the gameicon."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." Well now we have to go through everything again. RikutheBloody 15:38, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Now, coverage: while the lack of an icon definitely covers "this topic does not appear in HD2", it does not cover "because multiplayer was removed". Is that something worth mentioning?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:52, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Is it something we could prove? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 14:14, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

I'm not sure it is. According to Shard, only Taunt and Group Esuna were removed. That leaves at least six different commands that require or imply multiplayer capabilities that are still in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX. Not to mention, of the two missing, Taunt is one that doesn't really require multiplayer capabilities to work; it works just fine as a regular command, and its function doesn't make more or less sense if used in the multiplayer mode of the Mirage Arena. Trinity Limit, Voltage Stack, and Unison Rush are all useful as attacks, multiplayer be damned. The Group Cure series are extraordinarily useful in BBSFM, as they totally ignore the "no healing" restriction while also tricking the game into thinking you played multiplayer, so it boosts how many medals you get (to be fair, I only know this is true for the PSP games, so the medal-boost may not have carried into HD 2.5. The "free healing" bit definitely applies though, I've confirmed that). Those commands all make a ton of sense to keep in. Group Esuna does...nothing that Esuna doesn't do, and is slower doing it since Magic Haste doesn't affect it, so it's totally useless. Taunt gets enemies to focus on you, which they're already doing in a 1-player game, so it's totally useless."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:45, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

Side note, Trinity Limit, Unison Rush, and Voltage Stack are all reflavored as single-player attacks anyway. (Need to get the new descriptions in the Deck Command table at some point...) At any rate, I suppose it's obvious enough why Taunt and Group Esuna were removed, right? Obvious enough to put in the article? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 16:54, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

I would definitely say so. As far as Group Cure and them go, I've tested and the only healing commands that the Mirage Arena counts are the Cure series -- that should be noted on the applicable match pages, as it's an incredibly useful exploit. You can use Renewal Block, or Heal Strike, or Friend Curaga as much as you want and the game will still say you didn't break the rules."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." The extra medals trick by using Friendship commands doesn't work anymore in the ReMIX, only the medal challenges can increase the reward (which reminds me that they still have to be added to the template). --ShardofTruth 18:41, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
