The people who translate for these games aren't idiots, and there's so many Sky Land and Sea puns its hilarious. I think both trivia are in order.[[Special:Contributions/76.4.4.167|76.4.4.167]] 03:43, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Latin Etymology

In my opinion, the fact that it's called "Ars Solum", Art of the Land, is no coincidence. Maybe the trivia about Solo Arcanum is right, but there was no reason for my idea to be deleted... But it's just my opinion... Nihil Perdere Posset Qui Nihil Est 09:15, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

There's a pretty clear "First and Last Secret" in the Japanese names. The "Ars Solum" thing is based on "Solo Arcanum", and it's not so much "Earth" as in Terra, but as in "[bottom , floor, foundation;".Glorious CHAOS! 16:24, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
You're right : but whatever is Ars Arcanum's Japanese name (you say it's Last Secret - and I believe you) it doesn't hold the same signification. Ars Arcanum = Secret Art, you know it. Why would Ars Solum have the same signification as First Secret ? Anyway, Ars Solum could by translated as "Unique Art" or "Art of the Land/Ground"... But as far as I know, Solum cannot be translated as "first". But it all depends - are we putting the Japanese or International trivia ?
