Oogie's Manor

Oogie's Manor is, as the name implies, Oogie Boogie's mansion. It is located in a high hill, only reachable via the walking tub. The entrance consist of a broken bridge. Oddly enough, Oogie Boogie's main room isn't located in the top level, but below a small green-doored room called the Torture Chamber. Inside the chamber, various gadgets and traps reminiscent of gambling tools can be found. The intruders are forced down to the roulette table, where razor blades and exploding dice are thrown down (hence the name). After Oogie's defeat, he uses the Dark powers to merge with his manor, creating a gigantic version of himself. In this form, his spider cage takes a lantern-like form, swinging and spewing fires at the same time. The only way of destroying this form is to destroy the dark orbs carried by Oogie Boogie. After the manor collapses, the moonlight will reveal the keyhole in this world, situated below Oogie's Manor.

In Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories, not much of Oogie's Manor is shown in the storyline, except for the Torture Chamber (accessible with a Key to Truth card), where Sora and company proceed to battle Oogie Boogie.

Trivia

  • If you look closely during the cut scene after you defeat Oogie's Manor, you can see that the cage on (or near) his chest is in the form of a spider, with the legs, and fangs consisting of wooden boards. Be quick and pay attention because it passes by really quickly.
  • When the Manor collapses, you haven't collected all the items in the manor, you can find a small hole in the ground of where the Manor used to be and find all the items you did not collect while in the manor.
  • One red Trinity Mark must be activated before the Manor collapses, because it won't be there afterwards. The problem was fixed in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.
  • The battle with Oogie's Manor is one of two boss battles where you can go in and out of the arena at will (though that is only if Sora is at the Bridge; once he jumps down, there is practically no escape), the other being Captain Hook. However, in the battle with Captain Hook, Sora can truly enter and exit the arena at any time.
