The Hi-Ether is recurring item that was introduced in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can typically be used in battle to restore a large amount of MP to one target.

Development[edit]

The sprite of the unused Hi-Ether.

Hi-Ethers were planned to appear in Kingdom Hearts II, and had a sprite developed, but were ultimately left out of the finished game.

Mechanics[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Hi-Ether is an item panel which restores two casts of each type of magic installed.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Hi-Ether is an item command that raises Data-Sora's Clock level by two. One slot in the Command Deck can hold two Hi-Ethers, with a memory consumption of 12%.

In Kingdom Hearts III, a Hi-Ether fully restores one party member's MP. When used during MP Charge, it fully depletes the MP Charge Gauge.
