Cid in Kingdom Hearts
Cid Highwind is a character from Final Fantasy VII, who makes an appearence in Kingdom Hearts. He is voiced by Chris Edgerly and Kazuhiro Yamaji.
In the original Kingdom Hearts, he owns the gummiship shop in Traverse Town, which is true to his Final Fantasy counterpart, as he is an expert on air travel.
A memory-based version of Cid appears in Chain of Memories.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Cid is a member of the Hollow Bastion Restoration Commitee.
The name suggested by Riku to give to the raft in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts (the "Highwind") is Cid's last name in Final Fantasy.
