Soldier
Soldiers (ソルジャー Sorujā) are enemies from all Kingdom Hearts games. They are also one of the most common Heartless and also one of the weakest. In Kingdom Hearts II, Soldiers have a Reaction Command called Cyclone, which allows Sora to pull a counterattack on the Soldiers when they use an attack of the same name.

Heartless that emerge from various places. They are brisk in their movements, and rush into their opponents. However, they are not that tenacious. They often appear in numbers, though they lack teamwork.

A swift-moving Heartless that attacks its prey with a spin kick. Its whimsical nature makes the Soldier a less than tenacious foe.

- In the Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, Soldiers are colored gold.
- An invisible, powered-up, green-coloured version of the Soldier Heartless, known as the Stealth Soldier, can be found in Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, during Sora's second visit to Hollow Bastion.
- There is a boss in Beast's Castle in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days that is a giant version of Soldier only with yellow claws called the Sergeant.
