The Metamorphosis is an alien-like Unversed serving as a boss battle for Ventus in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It appears in Deep Space, attacking Ventus as he travels in-between worlds. It later sneaks aboard the Grand Councilwoman's massive spaceship, Ventus giving chase. The Metamorphosis causes the ship's engine to go out of control; Ventus quickly reacts by confronting it in battle and defeating it with the assistance of Experiment 626.
