I haven't played the original Kingdom Hearts for years, but I recall seeing Tidus in different clothes in Traverse Town, having memory issues, and therefore not recognizing Sora. Can anybody else confirm this? The article says that it's unknown where he went to... but if this is true, that wouldn't be the case. Sloup

 I am pretty sure that that boy in Traverse town is not Tidus. Sure it looks like him (apart from having brown hair and different colored clothing) but that boy is just another AI character who has pretty much nothing to do with the story!
When you talk to him, I think he says: "I got separated from my parents" or something... he also says: "Wow. you're the guy who defeated the giant armor thingy!" (or something like that)...
That Tidus-looking-boy is just copied from Tidus's looks, just like most other AI character in the game!
