The Keyblade War (キーブレード戦争 Kīburēdo Sensō) was a mysterious war-like conflict in which many Keyblade wielders fought prior to the events of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The conflict aroused when Keyblade wielders of Light and Darkness clashed with each other to create the X-Blade. The failed attempts resulted in the scarred remnants that eventually became known as the Keyblade Graveyard. It's unknown if there were any survivors of the Keyblade War. However, Master Eraqus and Master Xehanort are shown to discuss the events of the Keyblade War, possibly implying the two are of the latter.
"Kingdom Hearts 3"
After Kingdom Hearts 2 was released and The gathering was seen, there was speculation of a "Kingdom Hearts 3: The Keyblade Wars". This was disproven with the announcement of Birth by Sleep.
