:I am very glad you asked me! (No, I actually am.) In this situation, what needs to happen is those redlinks need to be made into redirects, rather than made into piped links. Since each is a valid reference, this is the preferred method of handling them. Same with the disambigs, the individual references need to be linked to the proper redirect.
