Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

A hopping, horn-like Heartless.

It's a bothersome foe that can honk and call other Heartless.

Kingdom Hearts II

It restores the HP of surrounding enemies. Use Heal Stomp with the right timing to heal the party.

When attacked, it may call for help, so be sure to defeat it immediately.

Etymology

A crescendo is the gradual increase especially in the loudness of music or the peak of a gradual increase.

Trivia

  • In the gameboy advance version of Chain of Memories, Crescendos only summon Soldiers. In the remake, Crescendos can summon other types of enemies (such as Darkballs) and play the same tune that they do in Kingdom Hearts II.
  • In the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories, the Crescendo was given the name Loudness. Coincidentally, Loudness is the name of a Japanese rock band.
