Dodge Roll is an ability Sora can use in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (and its remake Re:Chain of Memories), and Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+. Dodge Roll, as its name implies, was a short leap forward used to dodge attacks. In Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ it was triggered by pressing . In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories tapping a direction in the control pad twice triggered it during battle.
It was one of the first abilities Sora learned in Kingdom Hearts, and it was already known during Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. In Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ it is learned when Sora reached level 3 of the Limit Form, a Drive Form based on his Kingdom Hearts attire.
