Dark Haze is a technique exclusive to Terra in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The user cloaks themself in darkness, and charges their enemies. This attack has a small chance to inflict instant death after a five second period.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Dark Haze is an Advanced Attack Command that has a maximum level of 4, and a normal reload time of 15 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 40%.

• Terra can create Dark Haze through Command Melding.
• Terra can acquire Dark Haze from a chest found in Mermaid Lagoon.
• Terra can purchase Dark Haze from the Moogle Shop for 1100 munny once eight worlds are cleared or the command has already been obtained elsewhere.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Dark Haze is a Advanced-class Attack Command that can be melded through three different recipes, listed in the Mega Attack Recipe.

• The first recipe can only be melded by Terra, and is a type A recipe that has a 100% success rate.
• Fire Dash (LV3) + Blackout (LV3)
• The second recipe can only be melded by Terra, and is a type D recipe that has a 100% success rate.
• Zero Gravira (LV3) + Fire Dash (LV3)
• The third recipe can only be melded by Terra, and is a type C recipe that has a 100% success rate.
• Zero Gravity (LV3) + Fire Surge (LV3)

Other appearances

Terra-Xehanort inherits this technique from Terra, and uses it during his boss battle.
