Experiment 221 or Sparky is a character set to appear in the Lilo and Stitch-based world, Deep Space, in the upcoming video game Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. He is one of Jumba's original 625 experiments. His "primary function" is to short out electrical devices. Recent scans have shown Experiment 221 to be an antagonist, aiding Gantu in battle against Terra with electrical attacks.

Some time after Dr. Jumba's arrest and Experiment 626's capture, Experiment 221 was released. It later found Terra, a Keyblade wielder wandering the prison spaceship that held Stitch, battling him for the purposes of aiding the evil Captain Gantu. Later defeated, his electrical attacks no match for Terra's might, 221 fled.
When Terra and Jumba reach the room where Experiment 626 is contained aboard the massive, galactic ship, Jumba tells Terra that 626 is evil and designed to destroy everything he encounters, but subsequently releases him. 626 then lunges at Terra and steals his Wayfinder, though he drops it and leaves the room after Terra pleads with him. Terra then questions whether 626 really is evil in nature. Having become livid at his experiment's evilness being questioned, Dr. Jumba assures Terra that he is incorrect by pulling out a small green ball and laughing hysterically as he drops it into a test tube of water. Experiment 221 emerges and attacks Terra. After a battle in the containment room, Terra defeats 221, which reverts to its pod form.

Fighting style
Experiment 221 has a sporadic But lethal method of fighting. During the start of the battle He is known to discharge 6 spheres of pure electrical energy in 2 waves . This can be blocked and reflected back at 221 but with so many spheres it is quite difficult. Experiment 221 can also gain flight by using electrical current and move around the room making it a hard target to hit. While in the air it sometimes dashes in lightning fast speed at Terra a couple of times this can disorient the player if not properly locked on This attack can be blocked too but it is quite hard since Experiment 221 does it fast and at random, a good way to dodge this is by looking at 221 before hand, its body starts to build up a blue charge and blue electricity is stored on its head (similiar to a helmet to give extra damage). Also after floating in the air for some time Experiment 221 will land back on the ground But players should take caution to avoid it when it lands, for when it lands it makes a lethal Electrical Discharge that can do massive damage to the player there is no escape one the player gets caught and the player has to endure the hits. While it is possible to interrupt 221 before this happens it requires a large time gap and on higher difficulties it is advised to just leave 221 alone once energy waves encircle its body you must move out the danger zone.

Origin
Origin
Experiment 221 is so far the only Lilo and Stitch character in the game to not originate from the original movie of the same name. Instead, his first appearance was in the films sequel Stitch! The Movie, and the proceeding television series. In Stitch! The Movie, he is the first of the original experiments to be activated (Before activation, all experiments are in pod form, excluding Stitch). He is activated by Lilo and Stitch so that they can help them save Jumba, who has been kidnapped by Gantu. However, after being activated, he escapes from Lilo's home, and goes on a rampage throughout the town, shorting out any electrical appliances in sight. Soon, Lilo and Stitch manage to catch him, and convince him to be good. He helps out in saving Jumba, by shorting out Gantu's ship. Lilo vows to find all of Stitch's "cousins" and find the "one true place they belong". Lilo decides that Experiment 221's one true place is at an abandoned lighthouse, where he can make the giant sized light work again, and as it's big enough, he will not short it out when he touches it.
Experiment 221 originates from the 2003 Disney film Stitch! The Movie (the pilot to the animated sequel spin-off Lilo & Stitch: The Series), in which he is a central character. In the original movie's spin-off, Experiment 221 is the first of the Jumba's other 625 experiments to be activated from pod form. He is activated by Lilo and Stitch, the latter being Experiment 626 under a different name. However, 221 goes on a rampage throughout the town, shorting out all electrical appliances in sight. Soon after, Lilo and Stitch manage to catch him at a hotel and name him Sparky, convincing him to be good instead of malicious. Sparky is then given a new peaceful purpose: to provide the energy needed to power the old Lighthouse, pleasing the experiment.

Just like Stitch, Lilo gives Experiment 221 a name of his own, Sparky.
Despite hailing from the setting of a Walt Disney animated film, Experiment 221 holds the honor of being the first character in the Kingdom Hearts series to originate from a spin-off rather than the original movie itself, as Experiment 221's movie of origin is a direct-to-video sequel to the original Lilo & Stitch film.

*As the events of Deep Space take place before the events of the movie and its sequels, this is before Experiment 221 is named Sparky, just as Stitch is still known as Experiment 626 at this time.
*Since Stitch! The Movie revealed that Stitch knew nothing of his cousins before finding the containment unit, it's unknown if Stitch knows of Sparky's existence yet.

An alien created by Dr. Jumba through genetic experimentation.

His body stores an electric charge which he can use to shocking effect when threatened.

Usually, 221 stays in pod form, and only emerges when hydrated.

Experiment 221, alternatively known as Sparky, is a character that appears as a boss in Deep Space in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. He is one of Dr. Jumba's genetic experiments. His "primary function" is to short out electrical devices.

Story[edit]

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]

Design[edit]

Experiment 221 is a short, squat, yellow extra-terrestrial, with massive blue eyes that shine on his wide head. On both sides of his head is a small ear. Long, forked antennae protrude from the inner sides of the eyes, and large, flat teeth lie in his blue mouth beneath his domed, yellow nose. 221's belly is white and has a short tail sticking out behind him.

The name "Experiment 221" is derived from his creation, as he is Dr. Jumba's 221st experimental creature.

Personality[edit]

Experiment 221 prefers to be left alone, and usually has to be provoked to use his electrical powers, also causing him to become quite angry. He longs to be free, and is otherwise harmless. Unlike Experiment 626, who would seem to have goals and a demeanor independent from Dr. Jumba's intentional design, Experiment 221's only goal to carry out his primary function at his creator's command.
